We have a Zionist on this site

I'm anti-organized religion and agnostic. Not a Zionist but I do support the Jews from being assimilated to Islam. No more religion or political talk for me though. I don't come here for that.

I'm just kidding, I actually come from of a background of a people in the middle east that actually like the jews (and they are majority muslims) , but as you said no politics here, more bo talk.

Speaking of Bo getting a taste of success and then being sent down could be a bad thing. I wouldn't say he will regress but I will say top quality players play their best when paired with better players. Regardless of minutes he will most definitely be playing with better players and that will help his game. I don't think that ice time will be an issue at this point. WD seems to be a good judge of sheltering when needed and giving when he is doing well.

Looking forward to see what moves are made to keep him.

Waiving Sestito? Mixed feelings. Haven't really missed him since he has been hurt. Not sure if WD really sees any value in dressing him. But, with how thin we are on defense, I don't want to see Bieksa fighting. Leaving only Dorsett to drop the gloves and Kassian a bit too.

We have made out okay so far this season, would we miss Sestito if we lose him on waivers?

Not to be a dank, but how many people were saying only a few months ago, to trade Hansen and his 'hefty' contract. I always thought he was a fantastic utility player who just needed to get some confidence (and a bit of luck) to get his offensive game going. Great to see him having success

Jews being assimilated to Islam? In Israel?

Me thinks a racist needs to read a book. Specifically on history in the Middle East.

It's only been a 3 game scoring spurt. I like 'honey badgers' game, but I think he'll go quiet again. Love to have him around for the playoffs though.

That said, IMHO the team is still weak defensively. If you could spin Hansen or a prospect into a Dman or D prospect, I'd do it...but that's just the armchair talking.

Some of that is the perception that it is a lot of money to have on the 4th line, but I guess if WD is rolling lines and Hansen is scoring then it is $$ well spent.

And some of the talk about trading him was more about finding places for rookies in the lineup - Jensen.

With everyone guessing we would be bubble team, why not find a place for some youth development within the lineup?

What happens when Burr is healthy?

Someone who wouldn't have to clear waivers for some flexibility. Too much to ask? or too expesive?

I think Burr being healthy just means someone else sits. Mathias maybe? I say they still might send Horvat down. He's had two great games, but was pretty dormant for the other 5...though I'll eat crow and admit he's been a hell of a lot more of a contributor than I thought he'd be.

D = Too expensive. GMs tend not to make shot gun moves based on a good week. As good as he looks now, I doubt that Hansen would fetch much, and neither would most of our tradeable assets. I think we could swap a prospect for a prospect, but that would be about it.

Last night's game was probably as full as the arena has been all year, though there were still visible patches of empty seats. The fans did pick up the old thread of booing Duncan Keith and were quite conscientious about that in the third period. Makes you realize just how much he plays!

At this point, I think the fans still feel cautious. The wheels didn't fall off last season till after Christmas, so I think there's a bit of a "Fool me twice, shame on me" mentality in play at the moment.

If things keep going well, I'll be interested to see if fan enthusiasm improves gradually, or if there's one galvanizing moment that turns our city into believers once again.

Bang on Carol . Everyone is waiting to take a wait and see attitude. I have to admit, this time does feel different because there are new faces added to the mix.

RIP to the big Irish Guy. You will be missed but remembered.

Not sure how long you've been away but the ticket prices, rising for years, have become extortionate. High high ticket prices seems to either attract a wealthier but less passionate crowd (like someone else should be doing the cheering for them as they already spent good money to be entertained) or those that need to save up to go (we need to be Cup contenders for this crowd to come out with regularity).

I don't think Vancouver has ever been a particularly rowdy home arena but it's been getting quieter for years. When security needs to be summoned to kick out Southsider fans for being too vocal, it says a lot.

Hi def tv and high ticket prices plus boring hockey was killing Canucks. Maybe winning will change things

This right here. I can see the game better at home than from 100000 miles away in the nosebleeds. Plus I don't have to pay $40 for a beer.

I realized something this year. Derek Dorsett is an actual hockey player, not just an @sshole.

Such a solid trade for him. Love the guy.

For What? What exactly are you trading him for?

I find it funny that we are finally able to roll 4 lines, and the 4th line can win a game for us. Suddenly the Couch GM's want to trade high, on a guy who has been pretty solid, and able to move up and down the line up.

Burrows should be moved

Find myself pvr-ing the game and I start watching it after it's been on for a half hour. ffwd through the commercials and some of the intermission stuff and catch up to the live feed in the third period.

And the beer is better at home.

Have to wonder how he will hold up. His line with Hansen and Dorsett is doing okay for now. Benning says he wants him to stay up. Just posturing?

I could see Matthias being dealt, ufa after the season so they have to make a decision sooner or later on him anyway.

As far as who is worth what in a trade, looking forward to see whatever Benning decides.

I disagree. Higgins / Bonino / Burrows has been a good looking line for the Canucks.

Trevor said today , young players usually get sent down because their body is not fit to play against men , or their game is not good away from the puck. He then said Bo does have a mans body and his game away from the puck is very good.

I take that as ,he is going nowhere.

I don't see the Canucks making any moves any time soon. They are 2nd in the Pacific, 2 points back with a game in hand.

It is not that good of a second line. Look at LA ANA or most of the other top teams. Burows and Higgins are not true second liners. They should be third liners
