Eberle was a 22nd overall pick...I think if you get a player like him with a pick that late, you take it and run.

I am a big Taylor Hall fan. I think eventually he is a captain in this league. But can't deny what Seguin has done the last 13 months.

Yakupov and Murray are a wash right now IMHO. Neither has done much.

i agree on both points but i just think that at that point, a potential #1 dman over a potential top line winger is a no-brainer, especially when they already had Hall and Eberle in the fold. but that's a franchise that to this point has shown no interest in seriously plugging their holes. it's why their goalies are Scrivens and Fasth and it's why they have an 18 year old as their second line center.
