Amazing how either they win, or they get completely trashed and or shutout.
- Pecafan Fan

yeah it's been the weirdest first 20 games i can remember. and i still have no clue what to make of this team. it could go either way this year. they could end up the #1 seed or they could end up with the Leafs, Flyers, Wings, etc. battling for a WC spot.

Just read 2 minutes of Mathias Brunet's talkbacks, A-1 quality stupidity. Grand cru. Each 4 posts there is a Price-Halak debate.

Câlisse que le monde décrochent pas.

Ils vont péter une coche quand Price va goaler les matchs des anciens pis que Halak va réchauffer le banc

They really need to figure out that "playing defence" thing.

Glad they picked up a lot of points so far, but their record doesn't represent the way they play, imho.

It's a great testimony of how weak the East is.

Nice to see Nashville doing well. Erat for Foppa 2.0.

Indeed.

What a terrible trade. Worse than Gomez-McDonnagh.

I don't like the moves the Habs have made so far.

You don't give up a playoff warrior for a D-man that can't skate.

Not when you bring in the cap value that Gomez had.

Forsberg is paid less than a million per season for the next 2 ($894,167)

Erat was $4,500,000

It was a (frank)ing dumb trade.

i don't like guys they've brought in at all... they've taken a mediocre defence and made it older and slower. i assume Bergevin will further tinker because the defence as currently constructed isn't going to win a playoff round.

that said, Bourque can take his 3.33 million cap hit and go (frank) himself. Moen was another waste of $2 million. so having that $5 million off the books for next year is a positive. but the defence as currently constructed is an absolute joke.

and Montreal got 1 productive season out of Gomez. Erat provided, literally, nothing for Washington.

Yeah...I'm just being a peanut.

Not completely sold on Forsberg yet...but he's sure producing.

BTW...when did Anisimov become a sought after player?

Without Gomez, the Habs probably wouldn't have made the playoffs, meaning Halak would have had far less value, and Eller likely wouldn't be there now.

Yeah.

Its been more than 20 games and there's nothing weird about it. Also..no clue?? Are you completely (frank)ing retarded or do not watch the games?
Sorry, there's only so many of your negative, paranoid posts I can read.

question is, who will Bergevin move? Gilbert? I don't think he's really of some interest to any team

Weaver is a depth guy whom you can put in and out of the lineup

That leaves Emelin...

He's been so-so this year so far, but he does hit from time to time. Habs don't have a lot of those at the moment.

Never?

But we're talking about Edmonton here... so nothing should surprise you at this point.
