his wife just told me they had that for a couple of years, it's the first time they use it...probably forgot/didn't know what kind of coverage they had.

I had my car towed once in my lifetime and I didn't paid for it (covered by the car's warranty)...I don't really think having a CAA card would really be of any use for me. It's about keeping your car in good condition...not saying I will never need to call a tow, but what it will cost me is probably less than an annual CAA membership

The only time I ever had my car towed was once when I was at Walmart, and when I got back to my car it wouldn't start. I went into the auto bay inside Walmart to ask the guys if they could try to boost it, and they tried...unsuccessfully. They also said they didn't have the facilities to diagnose and repair it (they were like an oil and tire joint, and not much else), so I'd have to tow it somewhere. Closest place was Canadian Tire, directly across the street. I paid I think $90 to tow the car about 150 metres.

Yep, and 99% of people forget they have it, and/or forget how to contact the provider to get help.

Oilers have fired goaltending coach Frederic Chabot.

Yes, he's the main reason for sure.

A few years back, around 9pm I needed a boost, so I called Ford roadside assistance.

You know what I got??

A (frank)ing cab with a set of jumper cables that looked home made, they didn't even reach the truck.

Then I called CAA and they sent a tow truck..

The only time I have benefited from CAA my car actually did break down in my driveway.
- BingoLady

I assume a majority of their calls are batteries, gas, locked keys etc.
