Ramirez is going to backfire on them. Panda is great though. If the Jays can't afford Panda, they can't afford Lester. Probably just Melky, if they're lucky.

The "whiny" Leafs of 2001 and 2002 were the magic years. Sundin's broken hand and a tough Irbe killed them in 2002 and a stupid Domi hit killed them in 2001.

It surprises me that Korbinian and like minded Germans aren't better at hockey. Seems like a natural fit for them.

Slow players who can't pass, don't last long in the NHL anymore.

So I guess as long as he never has to skate or pass, he'll be fine.
