Yeah, it's a good book as well.

I saw that they're going to bring The Stand to the big screen. They're going to do it as a series of 4 movies. I'm all in for that.

Stephen King is the perfect example why drugs aren't always bad. Look at what it helped him spit out of his head lol

Had a few decent games earlier in the season. But that was more due to Bellemare's skating and puck pursuit. Even Rinaldo has overshadowed Akeson.
- MJL

I don't think you can say that for sure. While PEB has been good (on almost any line), Akeson was as much a part of what was going on there with their line early on. And PEB raises the overall skill level of that line, and provides a more skilled center, which plays to Akeson's strengths making them both look better and lifting Rinaldo a bit too. This is just like a month ago when you tried to discount Akeson's play in the playoffs last season, saying he was just a passenger on his line and wasn't an impact player and I posted the video replay of Akeson playing a critical role in a few scoring plays.

I tossed the bartender a $20 back during game seven of the 2004 ECF, and he let me sit in the restaurant bar and watch the game, despite being at a wedding.

Wife was pissed, but got to see the game

Yeah Thursday night I was at a dueling piano bar with my gf watching hockey, being drunk, and listening to pretty good music til about 1 am

I wasn't even sad when they scored with 45 seconds left that's how good of a night it was

I read tons of stuff, but I really enjoy King. I'm actually re-reading It this week.

Brown's stuff is entertaining, too...I liked Angels and Demons better than DaVinci

A few scoring plays is the key. You can put together a video compilation of any player and make them look good. Akeson just hasn't played well this year overall.

Yea I won't argue against that haha

It is insane what that guy can come up with. I could spend my entire life trying and never come up with an idea even close to one of his short stories.

C'mon, Zeppelin wasn't stoned, they had to be somewhat sober to steal all Willie Dixon's music

Man, I do wish Robert Plant would agree to do one last tour with Page, Jones and Bonham, jr.
