I don't know much about him. He seemed to fare well last year, and is doing relatively wee this year.

Is he a future Sabres in the making? Or destined to be Rochester bound?

Samuels Thomas too. Dam. In the coming years competition will be FIERCE in Buffalo. The days of settling for underachievers long gone. I predict the Sabres will have left thier mark all over the nhl seeing as how we can't keep all these kids. And we haven't even had our 3 first round draft next year.

Thoughts on forward lines for next year. Or the year after.

Girgensons eichel reinhart
grigorenko ennis armia
Lemieux compher fasching
Carrier/deslauriers foligno flynn

Also got baptiste, bailey, hurley, cornel as prospects. Figure hodgsons getting moved. Gionta and moulson are a problem.

if they are building a team to compete for a cup, the third line is lemieux, girgensons and (foligno, flynn, carrier or larsson) IMO

I love the idea of a real checking line. Foligno and carrier i believe are both left wingers, larsson hasnt done much to show me he belongs up in the bigs, flynn wouldnt kill you there. Girgensons impresses me more every game, pretty much want him on the ice as much as possible. Plus, since we a short a first line left wing, he would look good there.

their chemistry is brutal

that's a team that should have overpaid for moulson, gionta and traded for gorges

girgens is the x factor for sabres playing right now, honestly the only sabre I care to watch up front

he is putting up second line production with crap on the wings right now.

I would love to see how he did on the wing for a top line, but if they are keeping him at center he should be slotted third line for a cup run

he is by far my favorite sabre since varada

I thought their problem was mact refused to trade one of their talented young forwards for help on d, but that doesnt explain being shut out by the devils.

You idiots never cease to amaze me. Part of the code of hockey is you don’t throw a punch in a hockey fight unless your opponent has both his gloves off and is ready to engage. The throwing of the glove is meant to signify the fact that he wasn’t ready to engage and was angry that Prout threw a quick punch. If any of you zeroes ever played hockey, you would know and understand what the throwing of the glove represented. Pretty sure I smell the unmistakable stench of butthurt, most likely due to lucic ragdolling your teams “tough guys” on a regular basis. Stick too your 6000 calorie diets, you never have and never will understand the game if hockey. Might as well shovel down another bucket of wings while your ugly wives bang their Planet fitness trainers, LMAO

Any idea where this came from?

Its actually from a different site altogether. I guess its not really important where it came from, its just an example of an epic hockey chatboard post.

Idiot, you never played, insult poster's physique, insult poster's hometown, insult poster's love interest, insult poster's presumed social strata (and indirectly the job).

The only things missing are a preposterous trade proposal, a threat of an actual fight, and a completely misplaced photograph.

Neuvirth's lower body injury not as bad as feared and could begin practicing in a few days.

Per Buffalo News.

I think you are going to need/keep some vets just to get to the cap so Moulson/Gionta have to be in the mix somehow. I also have a feeling we might be stuck with Hodgson for a while. Guys like Carrier and Fasching will need time in the A.
