Joel Armia has 1+1 as Rochester leads UTI 3-0 end 1st. His next-level development is the biggest prospect story thus far this season.

- Herzeleid

From all indications, him and Grigorenko have some nice chemistry. Expect both in Buffalo next year.

Good . I'm sure Grigo has added to his upside. They both will be a plus . They keep going at this pace , they won't care if they get the call up this season.

grigo's been in a bit of a slump 1g, 2a through eight games this month...armia not much better before tonight at 1g, 4a

Utica pp goal...3-1 amerks

Pach, you have to do a story on what the Sabres options are if they land McEichel this year...their center position will have gone from a barren to an overflowinglynstocked cupboard.
So who do you try to convert to wing...who do you try to dish off? Soon, 2nd 3rd line Centers will be in abundance...and attract a fairly wide audience in terms of teams looking to make a move ...which sets TM up very well to fill gaps going forward.

that might take some work...for right now i'm interested in how the Moulson/Girgensons/Ennis line develops...might be an important trio moving forward

Schaller might find his way to Buffalo this year. Seems like he's doing well this year with the Amerks.

edit- 5g 8a in 17 games.

Good lord I do hope so...that would be an interesting 2nd line...I don't see them being a 3rd but who knows with all the talent arriving over the net 18 - 24 months.

it's a pretty deep prospect pool...there's four or five good ones in Rochester...compher and baptiste ready to turn pro next season...reinhart and bailey tearing it up in the chl...fasching and florentino doing well in college...cornel and karabacek holding their own...

overseas possler's picking it up and his teammate olofsson's been a pleasant surprise...neither will see north America until after the 2015-16 season

in net Makarov, ullmark, and Peterson look to be pretty good too.

It seems like we are going to need to move out some parts for the betterment of the team. That's almost too many players that could fit...

Plus Lemuiex has a chance too, maybe?

And along the lines I was suggesting, where do you see Grigo, Armia fitting in...I see them as 2/3rds of a 2nd line if all goes well..but then I have always thought Reinhart was the best option for a 2nd line ctr...so what does that do for Grigo..does he go to wing?
Anyways, you get the point.
I'll be interested in your thoughts when they are more solidified in your head.
I just see the likes of Comphere, Bailey, Baptiste, Fashing et al, really jamming thins in 2 years time...and believe this years picks will go to McEichel and then packaged to fill out that 1st line.
Way too long here..that is why I think an ongoing blog that has versions overtime would be interesting to all. And you do an awesome job in laying this stuff out...I really enjoy reading ( yes reeding) your stuff.
Ok Bourbon is kicking in again!

I have several I go between...
My go to is Buffalo Trace...really good, especially for the money.
Another is Bullet..very good, a little more than B-Trace.
My favorite mid-priced is Woodford Reserve....love the spicy kick it has.
High-end is between Bookers and Bakers..two different ones, so it depends on my mood.
And then, a good sipping one is Four Roses.

Of course, there are many others, at the high-end that cost more...but I can't appreciate the difference in taste vs the cost uplift.

Lastly, Jim Beam for the cheaper money ain't bad, I cEasily do that.
Jack Daniels, not so much.
And there are a million I left out.

Had me some Pappy, very good..but that is a couple in a lifetime event unless you are Jason Spezza today.
Forgot about Blantons..he that like 25 years ago...guess I'm due to re-evaluate.
So, I enjoy my Bourbon...maybe too much to go high-end frequently...hence the Trace, Bullet, Woodford and Four Roses... Those are really in my bag quite a bit.
Enjoying Trace as we speak.
