Is it me or is Johnson too slow?

Hickey and Vis should not be a pairing. They are too small to clear the crease.

Hickey especially is a weakling.

Its not you and these guys have completely stopped skating. Freely letting the pend skate over the blue line. They better come out better in the third bcs I think our goaltender might be high on ludes.

he doesnt but right now i'm more concerned about johnson. hes all over the place overcommitting to the shot and for such a big guy he shouldnt have to move that much. hes not confident and he should have been pulled after the third goal. he's gonna cost us another one.

I'm not sure the guy is in shape? Poulin could have done a better job.

Vis is listed at 5' 10"; Hickey at 6' 0". I agree that Hickey is weaker than Vis, but we need someone a little bigger than Vis to clear the crease when Hickey is on the ice.

Im not sure what his issue is. Hope he figures it out. We need him to play better. We take this gametonight we can take tomorrow at home with some better goaltending. Very big game tonight.

I agree. Hard to have these two paired together. Going to get harder to leave Reinhart or Pulock down for Hickey.

Ive seen hickey off skates. Hes not 6'. Hes lucky if hes 5'10". They may not be the best pairing. Hamonic keeps favoring his left leg. Something going on there. Saw him do it a few times

Hickey is fine as our #6. In fact i think hes a pretty good #6 defenseman. Let those kids stay down there. They'll get their shot soon enough when someone goes down if not theres nothing wrong with them learning the ropes down there. Seems to be going well.

All true Cpt, but watching Hickey try to outmuscle an ant gets old.

There arent many teams that have awesome back ups but we do need him to be a lot better.

Halak has had his shaky moments as well. Maybe it's time for a professional goalie coach?

He was playing behind an elite defense and team. I think we all knew that his numbers were likely a bit inflated. He is what he is, a backup goalie. I don't doubt that he'll have his nights where he'll play well. We've already seen a couple.

He shouldn't be out there against malkin. Not his fault.

I think Chara was blocking every shot before it got to Johnson.

Honestly starting our backup on the road against probably the best team in the league and getting 1 point would be great. Getting 2 would be outstanding

Viz made such an underrated great play on Kunitz, it's not funny. A lot of time left, but I like our energy level.
