There really seems to be a kind of battle developing between the team/organization and the fans/media, I'm not sure I've ever seen something like it before.

- Kessel's speaking out about his lack of speaking to the media
- Kessel's openly upset about the sweater throwing
- MLSE threatens to charge sweater throwers with trespassing and ban them for life
- Elliotte Friedman on the Fan this morning describes it like the Leaf players were under siege by the media at practice yesterday, asking if they're trying to get the coach fired, etc.
- Ron Wilson makes digs at the fans from whatever golf course he's currently on
- media makes a big deal about the non-salute and forces players to go into damage control mode and make up lies about why they made that decision
- poopstache pops in with seathingly witty burns for Leaf fans

It's definitely media generated, but the players/org seem to be pushing back - that's the part that's unique to this.

Steve simmons is a complete tard and the media should (frank) off... honestly I think if a media member asks a stupid (frank)ing question about throwing games they should get a punch in the ball sack.
