He basically admitted he wasn't 100% for two years, yet refused to get the surgery.

Of course, he continued to collect 100% of his pay cheque for those two years.

Yes everyone makes mistakes. And maybe I have the eyes too focused on him.

But I've played the game at a decent level. I'm not some guy that thinks the game is as easy as it looks on TV. The TV doesn't do justice to the speed.

But I see Dion sometimes. And I'm positive that sometimes I would make better plays. Especially lugging the puck up the ice on a PP.. God damn he (frank)in sucks at that

dion neesd to up his game, we can all agree on that he makes mistakes.

True story:

My brother went out for drinks with Kevin Lowe last year after a fundraiser.

My brother likes to rag on the Leafs as much as anyone here, so he started launching into Phaneuf - not a top player, waste of money, blah blah blah.

Lowe shut my brother down - basically told him he didn't know what the frank he was talking about, Phaneuf was definitely a top defenceman in the league, Toronto fans and media were stupid for ragging on him.

The amazing thing about this whole story is my brother admitting just how stupid Lowe made him feel - because it must have been a horrific mental beatdown for my brother to retell the story.

ok but NOW we're talking about 2 different things. i agree with everything you just said. but there's a difference between not doing the salute because you dont want to (no big deal IMO) and outwardly antagonizing your fan base.

kronwall stats: 600gp, 65 goals, 242 assists, 307 points and 400 PIM

yet kronwall has been on a dynasty wings team for 9 years and played with one of the best D men of all time.
