i understand if no one cares. if my team did it, i wouldn't really care all that much. i'd think it was weird and pretty stupid but that's it. thing i don't get though is people who THINK it was an intention f-you to the fans and are applauding the team/leadership for it. there's nothing to applaud in that scenario. there's nothing noble about flipping the bird to an entire fanbase.

Ironically, I think the media helped the Leafs acquire a bit of the Raptor's "us against the world" mentality. They backed it up with a solid game last night. They can stick their sticks anywhere they want if they keep playing like they did.

i understand if no one cares. if my team did it, i wouldn't really care all that much. i'd think it was weird and pretty stupid but that's it. thing i don't get though is people who THINK it was an intention f-you to the fans and are applauding the team/leadership for it. there's nothing to applaud in that scenario. there's nothing noble about flipping the bird to an entire fanbase.

And that's just it. The talking horses on sports radio need their fodder. Even a win against Tampa, 2nd in the conference gets diminished by TSN radio guys who say it was a case of the Leafs playing playoff hockey or backs to the wall hockey, and if Tampa actually cared last night they would have smoke the Leafs. I'm hoping that the Leafs actually take the attitude that everyones against them. They might actually prove something. It seems they play like poop whenever we actually believe in them. What happens when its the other way around.

To me it says a lot about the core of this team. I don't care about the salute but you don't pull something stupid like that, also shows me the collective lack of intelligence with this group.
