As a Canuck fan you should realize that fans revolt/riot/run amuck when their team loses, not when they fail to wave their sticks in the air after a game.
- Canada Cup

Again, this is fascinating. I am reading on Twitter about a "silent revolt". after the next game, no matter the win or loss, fans will just leave the building. They just want "to shake things up a little."

Theres a whole lot of problems on this team.
- Yeti1181

Starts with the core and coach, problem is it is really hard to correct with their contracts.

And I said I didn't say ALL of his partners. The use of OR means one or the other.
- Yeti1181

Do you think Franson is a borderline NHLer

Yes or No.

That should clear this up.

100%

He isn't 'bad'. But He's not going to get this team to the promise land.

I'm not in the dressing room. But since 90% of the league hates him fro some reason I assume he is not captain material.

Someone on CLB said 'Everyone hates you' To which Dion replied ' I've heard that one before'

- LeafMan

Did you imagine him playing anywhere above 3rd pairing on St. Louis?

Because he hasn't done that.

And he's the best example.

Does it matter?

Because you need to be reliable during those 18 minutes, no?

That's a slippery-slope.

One could, very easily, remove the word "media" and replace it with "players" and have an equally valid argument.

Just goes to show the level of trust and frustration. I mean, Kessel started this by insinuating that the current protest of throwing a jersey on the ice was this HUGE thing against the entire history of the Leafs, God and Country.

But I fear there will be a reckoning soon. Either firings or player trades made out of player demands or fan revolt.

- Beatle_john

The day the players are lined up to ask reporters the same stupid question daily - and have the audacity to complain it took them 10 minutes to open the dressing room after practice - I'll buy your theory. It is disrespectful to throw your jersey on the ice and every player should be pissed off fans are doing it. Period. The same media who complain Phil doesn't talk enough are now complaining about what he says? Does anyone else see the lunacy in that? Seriously. Clinically nuts.

These media members aren't the story - they don't make up the story - they report what happens. That's called journalism. They're not "owed" anything.

18:24 last night, 18:51 the game before.

Didn't check his splits, though.

18 minutes is more than bottom pairing is what I was getting at, plus why would they play him top 2 with the guys they have? It's a stupid argument to make. No PP time reduces his minutes as well.

I also think someone is pranking him a few times a game. It's the only reasonable explanation as to why why he all of the sudden looks his inner ear is blown out randomly. Someone is slipping some clear tape on the blades.

There are moments where he just all of the sudden looks like he forgets how to stand on skates.

or....
