I've done that and have used coffee stirrers as straws to slurp up my soup, and as chopsticks for the chunks in the soup. Ive also used carrots as spoons for yogurt

you had to know I was right about him.

Pfft, I'm talking about my Phil Kessel theory. But if it was Dion's idea, and that was the reason the Leafs did it, and he managed to convince the whole team to do it for that reason....then everything makes sense. The Leafs are made up of the dumbest collection of players ever.

That's exactly what I'm talking about Captain Circles.
- 1979AD

again with the circles just like a baseball...
i was explaining why gretzky would be compared to a player who scored 80 more points than blake's career high...

captain stick his nose where it doesn't belong and has no clue what he is talking about

Its all connected to the puke headline. Should've known that the Leafs players aren't smart enough to read the Globe and Mail instead.

pretty sure Leafs PR would be involved in telling Dion what to say - they didn't just send that guy and tell him to say whatever was on his mind.

I think in life, if you tend towards the excessive in all things, such as drinking, sex, k maybe not sex, drugs, gambling, eating, etc, wouldn't it be fair to say that a few negative consequences might occur?

I know these guys make too much money not to be held accountable, but how can we justify grinding these people up like rotten pieces of unwanted flesh, just because they happen to make so much money? Did they not work their asses off to get to where they are? So what, we buy a bunch of jerseys, then all of a sudden we are privy to pick them apart at our leisure?

Ever have a bad week at the office, where all you wanted to do was throw hot coffee in the bosses face, or tell his son to stuff his boyfriends cock a little harder up his ass?

Ever have days where you are working at home, the kids are home sick as well, and between the two of them, the deadline you are facing, all you want to do is get hammered, (frank) some random girl on the subway, and hop on your Vespa towards early retirement in the Mediterranean somewhere? Anywhere?

My point is, these guys are human beings, and just because their industry decided they were worth x amount of dollars, does that mean we collectively decide that they forfeit their humanity because of that? Do we forfeit ours?

I catch myself on many an occasion, lately especially, bemused by the endless picking and prodding by the media, the Toronto media especially, and it makes me wonder at which point can we say to them, enough is enough. Perhaps there should be another level of media created, whose sole focus is to pick apart every article, interview, and commentary submitted to the public domain.

At some point I think we should just dial it back a little, give everyone some space to breathe, you never know, it might even breathe new life into those select markets that have long suffered imaginary curses, maniacal owners, and success starved fans.

So forgive me for siding with the players on this one. The center ice salute was a courtesy. If my fans are throwing beers at me during a game then expect some sort of reaction.

Rip me apart all you want Richards i don't give a flying (frank).

You want to be ripped apart by Richards like your boss's son?

Also, I agree with your points

That's a good thing, secondary scoring and trade value, look at it in another way.

No Captain with class would let his teammates do this - Phaneuf has the IQ of a goalpost and of all the games to be immature at - not to mention that the average ACC fan is paying $200 to see a bad hockey team - he let's his players do this.

Gong Show - Phaneuf has to easily be one of the worst Captains in the NHL
