Stamkos makes sense to me, yes. I am in no way comparing Lafleur to either Gretzky or Lemieux. Not sure where that even came from. But minimizing Lafleur's career because the equipment was smaller back then? That's a classic.

lafleur career high is 136 gretzky is almost 80 points higher...

So if lafleur = blake

Gretzky = Blake + 79 (to be exact)

Simple math really... oops forgot you are the grammar guy....

The guy was a great player, because he played in an different era does not diminish that, he still was better than most during that time.
