That might work in NHL15, but let's stick to reality. - rmdevil313
Just ignore the horrible players & deals, they go away.
Again, players have to play to develop.
Especially for NJ which has a habit of mishandling prospects.
If a player is NHL caliber they'll mature and show it. |

On his celebration
"Henrique later said players were calling him a "shooter" so that was the celebration. "That was for my boy Peter Harrold.""
This guy gets it |

.. except I honestly don't think Clowe is going to last through this year. I think he retires in the summer. |

mishandling prospects, okay. Larsson should have played earlier but it forced him to make it count and he's not going anywhere now. Merrill proved that he should play and Gelinas has been developing too. Severson has played and been given a ton of minutes. We don't have any forward prospects really so there isn't anything to mishandle. Our system has been thin for a long time, bro. |

I know its been thin, that's what happens when you draft 20-30 for 10 years, but that's also my point that NJ moving some guys for 3-5 rd picks isn't bad. Especially considering NJ picks better later & tends to miss in the 1st rd. NJ doesnt have anyone worth a 1st Rd pick. At least not among the people we all want to shed like Jagr, Ryder, Brunner, random dman, etc. And by moving them you play some prospects in their place. Like Boucher or Pietilla or even someone else. |
