True, but no attention was called to him. He wasn't introduced, wasn't on the dais, and stayed out of the picture

Get it going all the way to a 1st round exit?
- rangerdanger94

Or, at least until Rick Nash's next injury.

This team has one legitimate LW right now in Umberger. Who is he going to bench Umberger for? Who is going to take his place?
- MJL

If they are not going to bench him then give him less minutes. 4th line at best!
Definitely not PP time, that's bad

Were you here for the eli manning debate?

Also hank has a gold and silver medal. Quick has nothing.

- rangerdanger94

Hank is the best at Hockey tournaments only Europeans cares about.

Laughtons play away from the puck is making me believe he won't be going back down. His stick is in passing lanes at both ends of the ice. Really nice breakup of a pass from behind our net to a dangerous area, many tipped passes in the neutral zone breaking up the play. Obviously the young legs and good heavy stick for a young guy. Yea he's not going anywhere.

I agree, I don't think he should be out on the PP. He hasn't shown any offensive flair at all this season.

Watch the video. Jesus.... he completely left his side of the box
- GOA88

I wish we could go into Hextall's office and female dog him about his effort as the Flyers GM. (Just like he went into the locker room the other night)

I swear that Hartnell/Umberger trade will probably cost them 10 games this year.

Downie

Hell, at this point I would take Rosehill over Umberger.

Its about time, we needed an injection of talent on the 2nd or 3rd line.

True. And yes I was keenly aware of the absence of Bonnie and Karl...especially with Leclair's mom being there. It was obvious wasn't it? lol

But to be fair, Snider wasn't on the Ice for the Howe presentation either.

He was tremendous last night. Looked completely different from the night before. I thought he was a difference maker in the game for the Flyers. Aggressive skater, strong on the puck, and a good forechecker in the game.

Absolutely! I've been saying it all along. Vinny needs talent to play with. Imagine if Giroux played with Umberger and VDV......
