Man I hope to god we don't trade a prospect for a D-man.

Hamhuis's injury looked like he would be out for awhile.

Looks like an ACL or MCL sprain.

It's not the antics that lead me to think that hes close to reaching his ceiling. It's his overall play away from the puck. It's like when he doesn't have the puck, he has no clue what he's supposed to do.

I think he knows what to do, but he just would rather let someone else do it. He's lazy

He's going to be 24 in January. If he hasn't figured out how to play defence by 25, you seriously have to consider that he just doesn't have the ability. I'm hoping he pans out the way he was supposed to, but I'm not sure he's going to be able to.

I agree that it gets less likely by the season, but to write him off for sure is the true delusional stance.

Bo is (frank)ing strong on the puck. Guy has no problems battling with the Ducks d-men or Kesler.

Even if he is a career third liner, is that a problem? He's big, skates ok, has some hands. He's been pretty effective.

Thats why it sucks that he has to go down to junior.

Battling 170 pounder teenagers a long the boards is going to be like night and day.

Yeah, me too. And if Kassian spends the entire season on it, it won't bother me a bit.

Honestly, if he were a foot shorter, he wouldn't be at the show. I think my assessment is accurate enough. We'll all have the chance to pass judgement on the issue in a few years. If I'm wrong, I'll buy everyone here shots one day.

I have no problem with him playing on the third line.

He is getting some PP time. If they give him a consistent look I will be pleased

That rover spot on the first PP seems to be how Willie rewards guys. I like it.

With the way he's been playing, maybe Matthias gets some PP time.

Exactly and it will be a damn shame if he gets sent down now that we are getting a real taste of his abilities. More injuries are here and on the way so maybe Horvat will get his shot to stay.

Maybe the Acton trade in the Nucks getting yet another center sent a message to Horvat that shuffling was going to start. Go to see the kid playing so well tonight.

It was definitely blonde before. Also loving the grizzly adams beard being sported by Kass

I was sure that you were Bo Horvat, but he's currently on the ice, so I'm wrong again.

Man WD is all about confidence boosters, Sbisa on in the last 10 sec and almost deflects in game losing own goal.

I hope Bo just earned some more leash tonight, WD does give almost everyone a lot of chances and is patient with mistakes.
