Here it is, over a couple of posts:

Off topic, but I saw Brendan Halverson last night in the Plymouth Whalers/Grey Hounds game. Its only one game, and the first time I have seen the kid, but he seems really solid and smooth. Made some really good saves, although the Grey Hounds laid waste to Plymouth. Obviously, it's going to be a real long time before he sees the Rangers' net (if ever), but the Rangers might have a real good prospect with this kid.

….

You know, I've only see him play one game, so there isn't really too much you can take from that other than an initial impression. But, one of the things that I noticed was that he seemed real big I the net, plays a little deeper, and has real quick pads. Made a lot of pad saves. Also, real smooth -- not a herky jerky movement type guy, but real fluid. This is his first full season manning an OHL net, so we'll no more by the end of the year, especially with his team really having a chance to compete for an OHL title (if anybody can beat Erie).

No problem, but at the end of they day, what the hell do I know (especially when it comes to goalies). So many of these kids look unbelievable at that level, but you never know (as a lamen) how its going to translate to the pro game. But, I did find Halversson pretty impressive, at least in that one game.

I think the Lightning maybe were feeling a little too good about themselves after shellacking the NYR

Truth is, when the Rags play as lousy as they did against
The bolts, they'll get shellacked by anyone -even the oilers.
Bolts fans however seem to think that one game and their good start to
The season means they aleady 'won' the MSL trade and
Are a shoe-in for years of top level success. Totally discounting
The fact that MSL helped get the Rags to the finals as though that's meaningless
Since they didn't win the cup. Truly demented thinking.
