These Leafs are a discredit to the history that is The Toronto Maple Leafs. They obviously do not listen to coaching for whatever reason, perhaps a lack of respect or a total dislike for their coach. They can play so loose that you swear the rink rats could beat them. This from a bunch of millionaires is totally unacceptable. The only reason that these players are as rich as they are is because of their ability to play hockey, yet in Toronto they throw their hat at the idea of competing for the people that really pay the dollars(every Leaf fan). They have totally disrespected us. To clean it up there has to be a moving of some of the core group, to me it is that simple.

I really want to tell Leaf Nation not to "panic", and they should make a culture move... or at least the start. Babcock, if he comes will not get you anywhere. Why? Babcock holds everyone accountable... the Wings players hate him. But they know he is right....and guess what Carlyle is a great coach. But if you dont follow instructions, it wont matter who is back there.

But the lack of playoff apperances, the 'choke', humiliating efforts.... to me these are signs of a full roster change over.

I thought McLean and Kyper, who I dont usually agree with were right. Your top players are pt getters and good players, but they are not "elite" leaders, how do I know, because of the above examples... during times of trouble, this leadership group cannot get them out of trouble.

Barnaby was saying on twitter last week, that Kessel was this generation's Bossy.... not statistically, not leadership wise, but there was one hint of truth in there.... Bossy was not the straw stiring the drink, Trottier and Potvin were, and that is why Bossy was so successful.

Time for the Leafs to make a move and keep Kozun, who is the only player that brings it nightly in that lineup. Kessel doesnt want to skate, give Kozun his minutes.
