Generally it has been clear up north. You should be safe.

It'll all be gone after the weekend. Now I just have to hope that it doesn't end up in my basement instead.

Holy cow! Looks like it will take a month to get rid of that mess.

Yeah, there's just nowhere to even put it. It's hard to even shovel a path because you have to lift the shovel over your head to throw the snow somewhere else.

My street hasn't been plowed since the storm even hit. I got home at 10 pm Monday and there was already close to a foot in the street. So it's been 48 hours since the storm started, and I've not seen 1 plow.

"This is the second loss in a row for Toronto and the second game in a row their fans displayed their anger and disgust by throwing their Leafs' regalia on the ice, although this time a Leafs' sweater was thrown on the ice during live play. Three nights prior, the Buffalo Sabres had pounded the Leafs 6-2 and frustrated Toronto hockey fans littered the First Niagara Center ice with a jersey and some scarves."

I'm really tired of those guys coming over the border and leaving their clothes behind.

Ok, needed to get that one out of the way.

- nfph

And I only thought they left there clothes in the parking lot at Factory Outlet Mall in the Falls.

Amazing. All that State & Federal aid and you don't see a plow. Wait till tomorrow, a couple of more feet coming your way. That looks exhausting.

Then 50s and raining Saturday - so the storm sewers should have fun with that.

I'm lucky I can work from home. poop still gets done and I don't have to get out of my jammies.

I hate doing it if I don't have to, but it's nice to have the option when stuff like this happens. My boss actually emailed us today saying that he doesn't want anyone attempting to make it into the office tomorrow. He said there's no point in risking getting stuck on the road somewhere.

It's supposed to be warm for 4 days, so I would bet that a good majority of it will melt on it's own

Question.

I was in Buff last weekend for the game. And I was trying to find a walmart.

Everyone I went to had moved. Where is the Walmart!. Also Where do you guys go to get your electronics.

I heard there is a place called Fry's? But im not sure if thats more of a southern state store or not. Also look for a circuit city? Couldnt find it...

Was thinking of throwing the tom tom off the i90

I wouldn't count on it. Last year heavy rain for 3 days straight didn't melt my snow hills. It will get really heavy too. I wouldn't know where to begin digging out something like that. I know about lifting the snow over your head. I'm only 5'.

Better make sure the thruway is open first. I was in Niagara Falls two days ago and they had the I-190 S. closed even though it was bone dry. All cars were rerouted to the 290.
They still have it closed and more snow coming.

Been lurking here for years. Posted maybe twice the entire time, however I feel like I need to issue a correction. Flight 3407 did not crash in Amherst. It crashed in Clarence Center. I know this seems nit-picky however I lost 2 friends in that crash which also coincidentally occurred about a block from where I grew up.
