You might think so but ottawa has an excess of grit/bottom 6 players

If the D return is good, I'm pretty sure it'd fit both teams....but i dont get to follow the oilers really closely and aren't sure if their going to turn it around this year (like I predicted) or not. IMO- eakins has to go at some point AND they should think about trading their 1st (at the right time only)... what do oilers fan think? I'm here to get honest opinions...............oh i also think they need help in managment... like Mac T but what exactly has he done ??

hopefully Perron goes full Laughs and looks for the positives

(frank) if this continues how can they keep things the same. I don't know what needs to change exactly but something does. If MacT thinks the core guys are going to carry this club then Eakins needs to go. If MacT doesn't think this core can do it he needs to trade one of them

The Sens currently have 8 NHL Dmen. Patrick Weircioch + Marc Methot would be good fits (especially for Methot). PW is a victim of numbers game and not performing as consistently as his rookie season (the one Karlsson was out he was solid -- a top 4D that has a excellent first pass and can play PP). His value is a lot lower which means he'd be a good target. Methot -- who I really would like to keep -- is Dan Hamhuis (or alittle less) but pretty much is that.

What are we going to call this, another morale victory for the Oilers. This team has reeked for NINE seasons now. This team needs a house cleaning from top to bottom.

No other team would keep their POHO around for this many seasons of failure. Our coach, ranked last by ESPN reached 100 games with a horrible record. What other team would keep that around. Our core, which clearly is not built to win kept together by a GM unwilling to make a big trade.

This team has horrible defense, even worse goaltending and can't score goals. They are soft, unwilling to score the dirty goals and aren't physical and even worse they don't stick up for each other on the ice.

I have been a die hard fan for the last 30 years and I've finally had enough. I don't even want to watch them play anymore until some big changes are made.

This has been by far the worst sports franchise for the last decade.
