Huge difference. Dirk wad an established superstar, who took his game to a higher level. His overall level of play was closer to his playoff performance. Manning, is avg, played well during their 2 runs and got extremely lucky in crucial moments.....good for him

His best play was the pass to Buress. Cant take that away from him.......im just praying that an Eagle QB can do half of what Eli had done one day

- KINGKENZO

McNabb did about half of that.

But he has some stats that could be considered HOF. He has 3 (or 4) Cup rings and another SCF appearance. He's top-10 all time in wins, playoff wins, and playoff shutouts. If Eli gets in based on 2 supernatural drives, then Osgood should get in as well.

No way. I totally did. Played for them for 8 years and scored over 150 goals while sporting a better moustache than Parros.

osgood should be a HOFer. this notion that his numbers and achievements are purely the product of the teams in front of him is absurd.

Craig Adams shouldn't even be top 10 in in the category of "Current NHL players named Craig Adams."

Ok. So 2 drives define his entire career? That makes him a HOFer?
- PhillySportsGuy

Is anyone making an argument that Eli should be a HOF?

He should have done more......if he played as well as Eli did in his SB appearance. .....the Eagles would have won

Agreed. Osgood gets underrated. He was a damned good goalie

Then how about Curtis Joseph? Has more wins, shutouts, and playoff shutouts than Osgood. Just played on teams that were never able to get a Cup.

Well, you just asked for half as good. McNabb was probably 70% as good.

He does, but I just don't think he's on the level of goaltenders like Parent, Roy, Brodeur, and others that are in the HOF.
If I was voting, Manning wouldn't get in either.

He's right up there with superstars like Dustin Penner and Ruslan Fedotenko. Sadly, he can't touch mega stars like Kris Draper.

He's a 4th liner, no more no less. He's probably better than VDV (not saying too much) but let's not jump on the TML castaways. It reeks of "all of the other players are better than all of our players" speak.

I think Frattin is a good skater and does have better skills. If it is an upgrade I think I do it.
