He said he was and the team did. Im not sure if boasting is the right adjective though. Irregardless the guy is an elite player. He was still playing better than good. His passes were off from what most expect and his timing wasnt perfect which is what's expected from a player like him. When hes not getting fans out of the seats there or four times a game its noticeable. Im not criticizing as much as im saying hes not borderline perfect like he usually is.

Please don't take my comments regarding JT as negative. It's plain as day something is way off either in his head, or something. I do not think it's his knee but then again he was never what I would call a strong skater so who would know? His decision making is what looks off to me. Was that on the power play? Because I saw a pass to JT along the wall where he was surrounded before his power play partner even made the pass. I was wondering why he passed to JT instead of moving the puck behind the goal to the other side which had been vacated by the defenders. On the play I'm describing JT had no good options, attempted a pass to the blue line and ended up giving it away.

Good win, we did just what we should do.................very different outcome then teams of the last decade. If JT and the throw together 1st line find their swag, we become a very serious playoff contender.

How is it absurd.... he has not been fine. Too many turnovers where he looks weak. I didn't say he sucked..but I feel he is off. The best players can go through funks. JT is in one.
