I still feel confident. Capuano is actually matching lines. Tampa doesn't look tired from their game last night. - Cptmjl
Tampa is just a really good team. A lot of people, myself included forget that Tampa is no longer the crummy team of years past. They're a top team now. |

Nabokov is a good goalie. Always was. He had a weak islander d in front of him. |

Nabby was also too old to be starting 60 games a season. He's still fine as a back-up for Tampa. |

That one off the mask was really nice. He propped himself back up to make it after he was down already. - UIF
Yeah he looks good. On that pp we were shooting it into him though. Lightning plays a smart game. Set sneaky picks etc. they look like the real deal if they can play at this level through the season watch out. |

Nabby's a very mediocre goalie playing a sharp game... |

They are. I knew they'd be a playoff team this year but I honestly didn't agree with people picking them as high as they were. So far I'm wrong. |

Have no issue with how we're playing so far, bad break for Halak and a critical PK to start the second. Still in it and need to bury one instead of shooting it into nabbys chest. |

what really does not help is that our powerplay is slow and predictable sending everything to the points. Where are the feeds down low and then quickly to the middle between the dots? And who is this guy wearing 91 and what has he done with JT. His game is completely lost right now. The worst he has consistently looked since his start in the league. I hope he finds his game and soon! |

I hate when the Isles' D (including forwards) stands around watching the opponent in close taking repeated whacks at the puck while the goalie tries to cover it. Generally, I like Anders Lee, but on that Tampa goal Lee should have leveled the guy. |

JT is just not inspired or engaged or something. Very lazy with the puck other than one rush. Puck finding Nabby big time..... seen this show with him, need to get an early one or he will keep getting stronger all game. Boys just don't seem focused.... need to kill penalty or game may be over. |

They had some good passing down low too, I thought. Some near misses on their part and some good saves kept them off the board.
And yeah, that bum JT has only drawn two penalties in one period. What's wrong with that guy? |

That one move he made down the middle was what has been lacking in his game. Hes driving again.

Would rather the JT that buries goals or set up big time goals than the one that drew penalties... c'mon man you know he isn't himself..don't try to dismiss the comments praising him for drawing a penalty or two... the one drive he made was vintage JT. That's what we need to see. |

Complaining about JT is absurd, imo. He's been fine and will be better. |

Anyone else just see Leddy skate by Stamkos like he was standing still to get that puck in the corner? Guy can skate like the wind. |
