If he is injured so be it. It happens. He isn't exactly the healthiest guy in my books anyway.

Just my thoughts, but it makes them look kind of foolish to deny reports, and downplay injuries continuously. Just be honest.

Just wait til they finally get into the playoffs.

Reporter: Hexy, what's the status of Claude Giroux?

Hextall: Well, he appears to have be decapitated, so were gonna say day to day with a UBI

I'd rather they bring up Laughton when Raffl returns and go with:

Not bad by any means. I am one of those though that doesn't want Laughton, and didn't want Ghost touching Flyer ice this season.

With the Phantoms already dealing with injuries, I would rather keep all the talent down there as possible to keep the kids in a winning culture. Or try to anyway. I do not want Laughton ever hitting ice with LeCavalier, Rinaldo or Umberger as his wings. Which is exactly what would happen.

So we are effectively down to 1 top 9 LW in B Schenn. And now with a center injured we are moving our only LW option to center? Exactly how is Vinny going to last on this team for any longer than this year if hes not trusted to center in this type of scenario? Starting to think he is getting bought out no matter the cap penalty.
- Just5

I don't think those lines will be set in stone, but other teams will be salivating at the idea of Umberger on the top line. Some guys just get a free pass from Craig.

18 should be wiping the toilet seats but gets a promotion.

I think if Giroux misses games, Schenn will stay at LW and Vinny or Couturier will move up. Maybe something like

10-40-93
18-14-17
36-78-24
76-41-42

Maybe call up Laughton and plug him in the third line center spot and bump PEB up to 2nd line LW. This would put the Flyers in a weird place. Let's hope Giroux is healthy.

I think he's missed few, but always seems to come out that he has been playing through stuff.

Similar to Timonen. Could be wrong I suppose.

He stills puts up numbers and plays well though so even if he's got stuff bothering him it doesn't seem to affect his game.

What you hope to see.

Think two surgeries so far on the finger (golf) and wrists after the Crosby tried to chop them off in that series. Concussion, and that lower body injury this year.

Don't get the notion continuously trying to polish a turd. There is no fountain of youth, and I don't understand taking minutes away from better/younger players.

When healthy:
bSchenn-Giroux-Voracek
Read-Couturier-Simmonds
Raffl-Bellemare-Akeson
Umberger-LeCavalier-Rinaldo

- flyer_nutter

Akeson is not a better player. It's questionable if he is even an NHL player at this point.

Schenn is finally looking like he's ready to break out. He's been moved back and forth. Please leave him at LW.
