Hope not Vin. Seems like Richards was truly the captain last year. His leadership seems to be missing.

He's the last one, Chicago will steam roll us when they come in

It's different though this year. The Rangers last year at least tried. They were just making mistakes in not understanding what AV trying to communicate to them. They've had many game this year where they just haven't tried. This game, the Oilers game. The Blues game they stopped playing. Home opener, they stopped trying the 2nd period. It's bad right now.

You would know better then I because this is the only Rangers game I've seen, I just think that there is still plenty of time to right the ship.

Biggest laughing stock in the league, how many of these games get to happen before a major shakeup is made, Sather needs to finally go, the group he put together is not even close to a playoff team, send Kreider to Hartford and trade Zucc and Staal
- HankdaTank

I tend to think you over react over losses but I'm on board with these trades !! Never mind that Kreider doesn't show up for some games he doesn't show up from period to period !!

This is the exact same sh!t that was said last year at the same point in the year...everyone needs to RELAX (in the famous words of Aaron Rodgers). This team has had a good amount of injuries and haven't had time for the lines to mesh. Not to mention we still don't have our best defender and captain. Our young kids are going to play better with more experience...We will be fine in the long run

Kreider could be a star in this league !! So big and strong that just flys out there . He should make the d men afraid to go back for the puck . With his speed he should be the first in on the fore check and separating the d from the puck . How he doesn't understand that is beyond me , sit him and make him hungry .

Don't believe in this team, after a full season under AV and no long trip to start the season this is a complete debacle, they are digging the same hole only there are other teams who have gotten a lot better, Mac isn't gonna change the heart and determination of this group, they're soft, lazy and gutless, I'm over resting a bit because that's what I do, this was as bad an embarrassing spot than they've go had in the past 10 years

This looked like a game everyone had circled on the calendar except the Rangers

Completely agree it was an embarrassing game but it's 1 loss in mid November...if they continue to play like this come January, when everyone will be fully healthy then I'll agree with you that this team is missing something from last year. If we win some of those shootouts I guarentee you wouldn't be so critical

If Keirder stops hitting because of that one hit then it is time to sit him or to the wolf pack .

Kreider is weird we get frustrated with him when he doesn't hit, but if he hits somebody and takes a dumb offensive zone penalty we still get frustrated. We're all frustrated, understably. The only Rangers to show up was the guy who used to play for Tampa. Can't win with only one guy trying. I will say that Staal and Girardi had one of their worst games ever. But so did almost everybody else. Tonight was beyond bad.

Life without Chara and Boychuk looks pretty scary itself, your time is up, Boston is the least of our worries

It took all of four comments to remind me of one of the reasons I don't frequent this board much anymore. Let's drop the chicken little routine. The sky ain't falling. Just like last season it's going to take time for this team to get it together. We haven't had our expected full lineup in any single game this season but a string of a few bad games has everyone pulling the plug on the roster. E-gads.

Couldn't agree more.
The only thing that concerns me is the 4th line. We need to find a 4th line combo that brings it every shift and can go against another teams top line. Tanner glass leaves a lot to be desired, I don't even want to think about the 1.5 per year over the next 3 years we have to pay him.
Let the lines mesh and I like the 3rd line of Duclair/Hayes/Hags.

I don't see the nastiness in this team, everyone looks like they're just going through the motions right now. Not saying we have to fight every game but let's bring an edge to the game we've been missing all year. Maybe Stepan can get punched in the face so Kreider wakes up? Although Kreider has 40 PIM already, second on the team is Staal with 22.

Kreider (frank)ing blows. He's invisible half the game and when he actually gets the puck he's has no (frank)ing clue what to do with it.

I'm going to drink 20 more beers and pass out. What a (frank)ing joke.

I've been praying for this moment for well over a decade, where I'm actually happy with my team and you guys aren't. But I have to tell ya, it kinda sucks. You guys are just so mopey and totally not fun anymore . You went to the finals last year and are a few games under .500. Cry me a facking river. We haven't won a playoff series in 21 years. I was 7. Boo freakin who. Your team will pull throw, they always do. They're not as deep as last year, but they're good.

Glen we're missing 1 player now and Tampa was missing Hedman, there is no reason for this team to have to take 3 months to get it together again, this isn't a new coach, this is not the same situation as last season, after the finals were over we were supposed to be the team to finally be a power, to contend for the division while Pittsburgh took a step back, has that happened? Nope instead we are arguably 5th best in the division, Sather did a horrible job of patching what we let go and now what, no 1st rounder, two 38 yr olds who won't be around for a regroup, wasting another year of Hank's career who will 33 to start next season, to be kind this is a nightmare
