Reinhart Named WHL Player of the Week

http://www.whl.ca/article...player-of-the-week-nov-17

- gerbe75pts

If he was averaging 2 goals per game he would have been named CHL player of the week!
Lol

It's an interesting idea, certainly adds a competitive edge.

What are they going to call that super team? The European Union?

[quote=sippyd]TM said he'll bring up 2-3 players a year. This year it's Risto & Zads. Who is it next year?
Pysyk, Grigs & Armia?

- IonSabres[/quote

There had better be more than 2 ... It will take forever to makeover the team.
3-4 next year...
Grigs,
Armia
Pysyk
McEichel

Trade deadline...then
McCabe

Next year, our UFA's are Stewart, Stafford, PK & Mitchell....Flynn is a RFA. FRANKLY, I say trade stewart for what ever we can get unless he wakes up in a hurry. I'd be willing to keep stafford at a discount....he's not worth 4 mil. I lke Mitchell and Kaleta for what they do and i would give Flynn a merit increase just for being a trooper. I could see Stafford get traded at the deadline. Between him and stewart, i guess thats two spots to fill. If we stil need to make room, any of those outher guys could walk i guess.

Well in FIFA it'd be the "rest of world" team but i suspect they'll want something with a nicer ring to it.

My money's on it being something with Alliance in the name.

Edit: Rumours of the second team include

a team comprised of players not picked (lol)

and potentially a young stars team.

Can't really expect anyone to take this too seriously

The only UFA they'll re-sign is Neuvirth.

Zemgus finds that offensive.

Sleep with one eye open tonight.

Although something about "Kopitar's Angels" has a nice ESPN fantasy hockey ring to it.

Probably. McCabe maybe. Catenacci needs to be given a shot too

Catenacci will never play in the NHL. Too small.

The Tampa Bay Lightning dominated the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden on Monday night, and earned an impressive 5-1 victory as a result. Two goals from Ryan Callahan, the former Rangers captain, pushed the Bolts towards their second straight win.

That's exciting, he must hurt having to carry that team so much! Not like there's anyone else worth a damn that he might be playing with.

Did anyone here say he was not a good hockey player ? The point made over and over was he does not fit in the timetable of the rebuild here . Glad he is doing well in Tampa . Made no sense for him to come here . Is it just a coincidence you carry a banner for anyone with an Irish name ? Or is it just players with Glue ?

Drouin proves how wise it is to develop high draft picks in the NHL.

I dont think murray likes the little guys. He wants to build like the kings. Catenacci will have to prove that he is exceptional or he will get passed by.

Sorry, just playing on the fact that the crazies amongst Leaf fans are determined that Stamkos is going to leave Tampa to go play in Toronto.

If that happens, Tampa will be without an elite NHLer (like Buffalo) and a very high draft pick who is regularly a healthy scratch earning 4Th line minutes. That's swell player development.

And that's my point.
