I would say that the above paragraph is a little unfair to say. Lundqvist has had to deal with a depleted defense in front of him that has left him out to dry. Also the idea that that this is a weaker roster has yet to be seen since there hasn't been a full healthy one since preseason. Unfortunately the Rangers yet again have to deal with the growing pains of turnover but it's pieces that are replaceable. For example, Hayes isn't there yet but he will be better then Brian Boyle. Yes Strahlman and Dan Boyle are different players but he is still a good NHL defenseman that actually WILL be effective on the PP.

I'm not trolling, I promise. I'm just tired of all the "rangers lost all their key pieces" talk when that's not the reason for the slow start.

I actually like the Rangers, when their games don't involve us. I liked them back when they were bringing in all of the ex-Oilers from the dynasty years. I am still a fan of Tiki Talk and wish someone would bring it back. Filppula is a Fin, maybe we can get him to do it.

If Callahan continues to produce at this improved rate (or near it), that will go a long ways towards easing that bitterness.

In different years under different circumstances, I have rooted for the Rangers against many teams other than the Lightning. But now things are different. NYR has the treasonous geriatric dwarf in their ranks, and now they must be destroyed.
