The Bolts have your first round pick this year from the MSL trade, if the Rangers fall to the lottery well then the Bolts get a lottery pick... like I said selfish reasons.

Haha wow I cant believe I wasnt even thinking about that. Yup I deserve everything thats coming to me now.

I don't see the Rangers falling to the lottery as the team is too good but I will continue to hope that it happens. Let's have a good game and hopefully Bishop takes the King... love dumb puns.

Tomas Kaberle has rejected Rangers' offer to remain in Hartford on new PTO and is thus an unrestricted free agent. #NYR

Paul Stewart wrote a good blog on the main page. Spot on accurate about the game the other night imo.

Well said. The Penguins IMO are the worst representation of the NHL there is. Not one iota of sportsmanship and the biggest bunch of whiny hypocrites I've ever seen in my life from their Owner who threatened to pull his team out of the NHL after his team got shalacked(this after like you said years of Matt Cooke ending players careers, another example of the hypocrisy) at the Coliseum to their whiny, cry baby captain to their whiny, self entitled fans. There's no rivalry. Certainly no jealousy. Just hate shared by just about every fan of the sport except for those same whiny fans I referred too earlier.

Oh the irony.

Since you like to use the word hypocrite you might want to make sure you know the meaning of it

That's of course after you wipe your nose of the snot bubbles that have been flowing out of it since Saturday.

But yeah go ahead and talk about WHINERS since you obviously know what it takes to be one.

I think I say this after every game but Kevin Hayes continues to impress more and more. Going into the season I had my reservations about him but the kid looks like the real deal. I know it's early but our search for a #3c might have been filled. The only thing I wish he did more was toss that 6'5 230 lb body around a little more. The improvement on the faceoffs will come.

I wonder when Marc Staal was cross checking Crosby in the neck last year in the playoffs, rags fans probably thought that was just tough hockey. I guess if Bortuzzo did that to Nash, ummmm not as much.

By the way Third World countries could bathe for a week from the tears of all you whining rags fans. Keep it up. Love it!

oh, stop ... if you want to go back in time, I wonder how Dallas stars fans would have felt if the Stars and Sabers were brought back onto the ice after the "Brett Hull" goal.
Totonto made the right call, but the manner by which the review was conducted was incorrect.
and ... calls are calls, some are wrong, some are missed and others are simply let go, its all part of the game ... but after 30+ years of watching hockey, I have never seen or heard so much about a player complain as much as Crosby, especially to the point that his peers (as I wrote in a previous post) rib him for it.

When it comes to the Pens Pittsburgh is the brick wall the 'reality train' crashes into.

No point trying to have a rational conversation with most of their fans.

Its funny because you would think a kid out of college might have the offense down, but Hayes has impressed me the most on the defensive side of the puck. Has to lead the team in takeaways. Agree it would be nice to see him learn to use the body, I just have a feeling he will be a Boyle type player in that regard, but with a much higher ceiling on the offensive side of the puck.

This is the most idiotic comeback, so anyone who points out whining is a whiner themselves? How would anyone ever know who whines?

The irony is, I don't think he realizes Captain is an Islander fan.

Here is the way I look at it. We all have the right to either like or dislike someone based on the way they carry themselves on the ice. Sid is a great player. The best player in the world, IMO. I would be absolutely thrilled to have him, and any Ranger fan that says they wouldn't are either lying or not being honest with themselves. That being said, his on ice demeanor does rub me the wrong way. Now, perhaps I would be more prone to overlooking his antics if he were wearing Blue, rather that Black and Yellow, but I find it annoying that a guy with that crazy level of ability has to yap at the refs so much (which I believe is above and beyond what you would normally expect from a Captain). But, at the end of the day, who really cares? We just need to worry about the Rangers.

well said. Penguins fans have been lucky enough to get to see a few generational talents play in the black and gold over the last 30 years, celebrate 3 Stanley Cups, and see some great hockey. I posted earlier that Rangers fans should wear the fact that Crosby gets more frustrated playing the Rangers then any other team with maybe the exception of the Flyers as a badge of pride. The smacking of the stick against the glass doesn't happen very often. Yes, he talks to the officials alot, but it is also magnified because he always has the spotlight on him no matter where he is playing.

Not too happy with Rangers fans acting like Tampa and Columbus fans, no reason to boo
