You completely missed my point. Myers looked good at 19, just like Zadorov does right now. There's no guarantee that Zadorov continues to get better. He could have struggles over the next 5 years just like Myers had had.

I didn't miss anything, Zadorov style of play is completely different than Myers - physical, plays with a chip on his shoulder, not afraid to take chances. He will only get better with this of confidence.

thing ya gotta watch out for, irish, are the tendencies that other teams pick up on...myers went through that while on a team that was bereft of quality d-men outside of him and ehrhoff...he bottomed out and is on the way up, imo

Myers style of play - "tendencies other teams pick up on" = nothing to worry about.

Front of the net - Myers won't hit you
Defensive end corners - no opponents worry about him
On ice leadership - none
Offensive game - inconsistent for years
Physical style of player that is 6'7 - no jam, no desire

I can go on about Myers, just a waste of potential ($ got the best of him)
