Do you have a smartphone? If so, download either the WGR550 app or TuneIn radio. You can stream WGR from either of them.

I've found the TuneIn seems to work better though.

- HonkFortheGoose

I have the app and use it, but I am more worried about scheduling. I should have clarified. My apologies.

if we get anyone close to getzlaf level in eichel i would be ecstatic. Hes definitely one of my top 5 favorite players and its amazing to watch the plays he creates on the ice.
- gerbe42

If you believe the hype then you better believe that eichel will be as good or better than getz.

PS. I love Getzlaf

Do you have issues where the WGR app just stops playing when listening live?

Far too frequently. There is a lot of buffering, and then it will just stop even though it says it's playing.

Realistically, what would the chance be to move into the top-5 this year at the draft?

I am assuming/hoping that the Sabres finish dead last to ensure a top-2 pick, but at this rate with the Islanders picking 21 and St. Louis picking 26 (if the season ended today) what would one assume we would need to move up to get one of Strome/Barzal?

As a convert, due to Goose's non-stop rambling about TuneIn... ( ), I concur

Sports are about to jump the shark.

Gincarlo Stanton is set to earn the first ever $300MM+ contract to swing a stick at a ball.

And do it unsuccessfully 7.5 out of 10 times.

- ImThatGuy

Agree. It's getting silly.

I don't think it happens but you would have to think a good young roster player and a first this year or next year. And even that might not be enough.

I'm thinking back to when Burke got the Sedins and I think the first part of that trade was McCabe and next year's first for Chicago's 4th pick overall.

That was a long time ago so I'm not sure if GMs value the picks more now. I would think will all the hype surrounding this draft, that would be the case.

I have a Galaxy S5 and prior to that I had an S3 and the HTC Thunderbolt. It's done it on every single one of them.

We do have the late 1sts this year... I wonder if a decent prospect/player and those firsts could work. It seems tough because they are technically late round picks right now.

I'd rather use those first round picks to acquire established players if we are going to go the route of trading them.

325M over 13 years is 25M per season... it has a full no-trade clause and an opt out after 5, 7, 9, and 11th years.

And baseball contracts are FULLY guaranteed if I am not mistaken.

That's also a great point.

I just wonder if we are in the clear to get McDavid, would it be worth trying to get Strome as they seem to have decent chemistry.

The only thing that gets me through last season and this one... is that our lines in 2015 could be...

Moulson - McDavid/Eichel - Girgensons
Armia - Grigorenko - Ennis
Hodge/Foligno - Reinhart - Gionta
Larsson - McCormick - Deslauris/Kaleta

Myers - Risto
Zads - Pysyk
McCabe - Gorges
Ruhwedel

Enroth/Neuvirth/Ullmark/Hackett/Makarov

With guys like Baptiste, Carrier, Fasching, Hurley, Compher, Possler, and Lemieux still in the wings.

At least stanton plays everyday, seen Kershaw's contract? (disclaimer, i think he's worth it relative to other contracts im just using it as a comparison. I think it's something like 10,000 dollars per pitch he throws)
