I don't think Hat comes on here very often after a Friday night, but when he does it's always very candid.

In all seriousness, though, I really don't get it. We all have strong opinions, positive or negative, about certain aspects of this team, and there are certain other aspects we couldn't care less about. Sbroads really likes Myers; I'm indifferent to him; some others think he's a waste of space. I really don't like Nolan at all; Sbroads seems indifferent to him; those same others think he's great. I do know one thing: in our disagreements, Sbroads and I have not attacked anyone else. I don't do it largely because doing so shows a piss poor grasp of logic, but also because it's just plain stupid. Yet certain others attack our jobs, our career choices, and apparently now our work ethic. And I think what illustrates it is the fact that in all of our "spats" back and forth, I have not once been banned (at least not to my knowledge...I did have to give my phone number once, which was weird) Look, I couldn't care less if you agree with my opinion or not, and I'm sure as hell not going to change it just because someone I've never met in person doesn't respect my job at all, or a certain someone else, also whom I've never met in person, throughout all his travels, constantly argued with someone of a similar line of work about certain operations I really don't know or care about. 99.9% of the time, that's completely irrelevant to the topic at hand.

yeah i dont really care what anyones job on here is quite frankly. They could be flipping burgers or working in an emergency room, being a respectful and decent human being is not measured by where you work. We all have different opinions and thats exactly what they are, we're not going to agree on everything but theres a right and wrong way to go about it. My philosophy in life is to not compare myself to others in terms of "success" according to society. If youre happy with what youre doing, who am i to judge.

I've never been banned. But I also know that personally attacking someone is a one way ticket to a time out. So I don't do it.

Like I said, I don't think I have either. One time I had posted something, and never logged back in until later that afternoon/night, and then had to give my phone number before I could post again. Not sure what that was about.

I went there on Saturday. It was definitely nice, and you could tell they put a lot of work and planning into it. Will I go there again? Sure, probably. Is it a must-go before every game? I didn't think so.

I also think the 38 foot screen, when it's showing only one game/program is a tad overkill.

That's pretty accurate.

I feel its weird in there. It has the feel of a hotel lobby and is lit like an airport. It feels more like Black and Blue restaurant on Sheridan than it does a sports bar. It has no homeyness to it unlike real sports bars. Its like they aren't sure if its a night club or fancy mod-restaurant.

They definitely wanted it to have an "upscale" vibe to it, in which it delivered.

And keep in mind, there's a hotel opening in the complex next May. That essentially is going to be the hotel restaurant.

I guess it's possible. I've never had to do that. The best way to know for sure is to ask one of the Refs. NF or Stashu can tell you. They have access to all that stuff.

I know that you and I have disagreements about things, but never once have I felt that making a comment about where you work, the frequency of your posts or anything like that is necessary.

I think in many ways, you think of things similar to me. You have an opinion, but you use facts to back it up most of the time. You use those facts to support it. Never once have you told me that I'm blind or stupid.

Can you elaborate on what you didn't like? I've never gone so id like to know the pros and cons
- gerbe42

They aren't taking reservations so the dinner wait was 2.5 hours. There isn't a lot of common areas around the bars to hang and drink, so if you don't have a bar seat you're essentially standing right by tables while people eat and dodging servers walking by. There are zero bar ledges to set a glass on and zero pub tables with bar stools. There were groups of people ages 24 to 60 having drinks on staircases and in front of broom closets. It was weird.
