So... TSN's region-locked all of their NHL clips now? Used to just be The Reporters and some other random stuff.

I get the trade to some degree tho. I really believe they just wanted to get out from under the term of Hartnell's contract. they are really going to have to pay up for Voracek and even Schenn, Couturier and Coburn.
- nastyflyergirl

I understand they wanted out from under Hartnell's contract, but at the same time, Umberger's contract still has two years on it, when guys like Voracek, B.Schenn, Couturier and Raffl are going to be due hefty raises before Umberger's contract expires.

The way it looks now, they'll have plenty of time to find a copy.

On November 13, Felix Unger was asked to remove himself from his place of residence; that request came from his wife.

No surgeries thus summer.

So the herniated disc is still there.
Maybe it shrunk a bit with time and rehab, but you are right, I'm sure it is still bothering him and he doesn't want to use it as an excuse.

A bit off topic here....but did anyone get a chance to listen to Stern the other day when Bernie was on? I didn't know that Bernie was such a ladies man...from his own mouth, he said that he had a big Richard and he slept with 5 ladies at once.

I didn't know this, but Bernie had a serious case of "man-boobitus". He recently saw a well known plastic surgeon to rid himself of the "extra weight".

I'll tell ya one thing though...I can only take his accent in small doses. Ughhh

You kidding.... Randall and Klugman worked much cheaper, and were brilliant performers. These two, not so much.

It definitely wasn't one of my favorite Stern moments. Why did Howard even have him on anyway? I missed the intro. Howard is funny at times, but I agree, he wasn't during that particular interview.

Didn't listen to his Stern appearance but Bernie is fond of telling a story about how did not get circumcised until he was 30 years old. After the procedure, he would show "the new me" to reporters, teammates, and um, new acquaintances upon the asking. Just one of many, many, many semi-printable and unprintable Bernie stories from over the years along with the many, many, many family-friendly ones.

One of the family-friendly ones: When he was a kid, Bernie was fond of soaking cotton with vinegar and then consuming it. Took years for him to break that habit.

Wouldn't a bag of salt and vinegar chips been easier?
