im sure doctors would like to stake their claim to that title, but without a doubt. that is law to some sort of scientific notation numerical value.

not that i have a ton of practical experience, but loads of it is tedious, even on its best days. and the whole courtroom drama stuff is severe hyperbole. hell, even your average run of the mill type stuff has a ridiculously small trial rate anymore these days.

i also loathe the discussions that usually come of it, because people are typically jackasses.

most people at school lean very hard one way or the other, and they arent content about you not coloring yourself either red or blue.

all i ask is that people respect other people's opinion and at least hear it out before coming to a conclusion, and have a rational basis for your own beliefs. and most people cant even provide that.

seriously. i think a lot of them just go because they come from money and daddy told them to. once there they realize it is a perfect environment to spew cocky douchery.

however, i will have to say that there are some absolutely brilliant people in there. especially the professors. ive had 2 or 3 that ive literally felt humbled to engage in conversation.

Doctors though, can see many different patients in a day, if they are a GP, or if they are a specialist, they can at least usually get the feeling of helping somebody.

Lawyerin', even if you're a character like Lawyerin' Joe Amendola, is a ton of research and paperwork.

honestly. in a lot of ways judges have it much easier than the actual lawyers.

but your big shot lawyers often make more than the person presiding over the case.

In the US, far too much time is spent trying to get elected, and far too little spent governing. Basically, at the national level, these guys are simply putting their name on bills written by lobbyists who throw tons of cash at them.

I was considering going and I talked to my wife's cousin. He said "If you like making money, screwing people over and don't mind working a lot, law is for you."

That turned me off a bit. All of my friends who are lawyers are miserable right now. I know it gets better once you work your way up, but it sucks in the beginning.

Thats true, but they also assume the risk. I worked in commercial real estate and while it sucked to have to work with certain attorney's, it did feel good to pass all of the risk to the attorney.

At least Iggy has a talent. She can sing, even if it's horrid pop music. Kardashian is famous because she screwed a B-list rapper and sold the sex tape.

I agree about the vapidness of the Americans who consume this rot & care about what people who are famous only for being famous do.
