That 1.8m can 100% be a big deal! With Gallagher and Galchenyuk needing extensions (Galchenyuk can get quite the bonus being such a high pick, which he might hit, I don't know what they are). That extra money is the biggest plus of this deal, whatever Gonchar gives us is bonus imo

Say he is too old and can't play, then the kids are busy playing in Hamilton waiting for a chance. If it does work, then PP is fixed and we are still soft on blue line 5-on-5. Either way, it's a 10 month experiment, not a 3 or 4 year Kaberlol as you suggest.
