Of course, I'd also like to know when the Bruins lent us their coach....

part of the boychuk trade was having Julien on a headset with cappy during our games.

Pwnage!

Avs sucked tonight but the Isles jumped all over them.

10-5-0. Pretty damn solid. I look forward to seeing how this team looks with Grabner and Bailey back in the lineup.

20-10-0 Would be surreal at this point. Sign me up for a 66% win percentage... That's well over a 100 point season

Isles have played best hockey of year since the Kings game.
Viznosky has played in isles uniform. Nelson is a beast and will only get stronger.

It's always impressive when team wins 6-0 and Tavares really wasn't part of it.

Let's keep it going.

Clearly it's conacher coming out when bailey back and Clutterbuck will move back to 4th line. But who sits when grabner back?

I finally got to the old barn tonight.....although not until the end of the first period. What I saw for two periods was a team that aggressively killed penalties, forechecked in the neutral zone and at the defensive blueline, and stood in the shooting lanes. That's how you win 6-0- and their goalie stopped six more from going into the net. Nothing provides offense quite like aggressive defense.

I haven't been able to watch the last few games. Are they playing like they did at the end of the season when JT was hurt? It sounds like it.

He was placed on waivers to mutually release him from the last year of his contract with us, he signed with Skellefteå AIK of the Swedish league for the 14-15 season.

Yes, except with ten times as much talent, which means that when they play that way, they pummel the opponent......like we've all been saying for the past month and a half....

How angry are we going to be when if they keep playing like this and they start talking Jack Adams award.

He had a good chance last night, but the goalie robbed him- as I said, if it wasn't for their goalie, they would have been buried last night at an all time level of embarrassment....

I won't be angry if they keep playing like this. Three goals against in four games is a hard pace to keep up.....but I'd live with seven. We knew he COULD do it- as we all said, EVERY TIME they had injuries, he'd have them play like this, and they would have some level of success commensurate with the talent. He just needs to ACCEPT THE FACT that this is HOW hockey is played- it didn't make them boring. It didn't stop them from scoring. It didn't do anything except help them win. If he wants to go to Maine, recruit the good players that a big national program can get its hands on, have them play pond hockey against Southwestern Bumbalf**k State, and beat the hell out of them, that's fine. In the NHL, the team has to play the way this one did last night- there is no other way to play and win. Let's hope he has finally figured that out.

The one thing I noticed the most was they are playing responsible instead of trying to be overy cute. A few times when the outlet pass wasn't there I saw the D-man just opt to get it out of the D-zone. A few times when they get a turnover in the nuetral zone they opted to just fire the puck into the offensive zone while they Cleared the zone instead of waiting for the perfect entry. Kept the front of the net clear. A few times where in the past the D-man would try and make a risky play to keep the puck at the blue line instead opted to make the safe play. I think finally having all 6 of our starting D-men has helped immensly, but it's nice to see some of the stupidity end.

Nielsen iand Nelson are friggin fantastic.

Exactly. The only telecast available to me last night was Colorado. What was funny was I thought the islanders got new broadcasters. Peter McNabb said after the game the islanders out worked Colorado every shift, the whole game. Really was a great team effort last night

First ten games, 6-4, GAA 3.60, SvPct .878. Last five games, 4-1, GAA 1.20, SvPct .970. That pretty much says it all, right there.....

Id be happy. I want them to succeed just like anyone else if its with him great. I dont understand how the obvious is hard for Capuano to see? Weve all been sayinv these line ups and system. Hes just come around to our way of thinking. So in essence we should get the adams not him... Let's not get too excited. The fourth line could be gettin fourteen mins and Martin could be playing with jt next game. We know hes capable of doing that.
