Gonna be a 6-0 game and all the Fleury haters are going to come out in droves. Neverminding the fact that there were about 12 missed passes that were within the 5-7ft range, about 14 terrible giveaways in that period and Comeau's wonderful whiff on the 2-1. - Ben37
It's hard to say any Penguin played anywhere near their capability. Bad night for us, good for them. I'd pull Fleury, what reason is there to leave him in there? |

4-0 and that goal they waived off should have counted.
They could go 70-10-2 and I still won't have confidence in this team come playoff time. When the going gets tough they flat out quit. Really need to answer the bell when they get challenged.
2 worst games of the year, vs Philly and NYR. Seriously, they can't get up for these games? - Sell My Monkey
Don't forget collapsing against Detroit. |

You don't have to be a Fleury hater or lover to realize this guy just doesn't win or play well in the tough games. His performance the last five years including last year in the tough games was hardly worth an extension. But wait he's a fan favorite and Sid likes him. He is also a favorite in the locker room so he gets a raise and four more years of watching this team make an early exit in the playoffs.

Are the Rangers trapping?
I think they are playing 1-2-2 while defending. They are giving us fits. |

Wow, you guys are fickle, one bad game and you're already predicting doom for the season. Given his track record Fleury should have never gotten this start, that's why they got a quality backup and ruined Zatkoffs career I thought, to play the games that Fleury is weak in against teams he's weak against. The team is imploding because they don't trust him tonight. It would be best for everyone if he sat the rest of the game out. But there's still a long way to go before all your predictions of disaster and catastrophe, if the team was winning the game you would all be talking about how this year is different and blah blah blah. CHILL OUT on the cynicism. |

The Pens haven't got to one loose puck tonight, but by all means let's crucify Fleury. |

It's not Fleury's fault we are losing tonight. The team as a whole disappears when the opponent starts to play a physical/griding game. |

Well...Dupuis back with Sid and Kuni.
Thank you Johnston. Give Malkin Horny. |

So... I am not going to read through all the comments, I'm lazy and got a minor headache.
Are people REALLY blaming Flower for this one? I don't care that he gave up 4 goals, you can't give a team as many good chances as the Rangers have had tonight. |

Games like this make me wonder the value of having both 87 and 71 and you can't afford to flank them with decent players. |

Let's trade for malkin's wing already is more like it. Do we have any game plan for our over stocked dman pile? Make a deal now so whoever needs to step up can get 60+ games to get up to speed. |

Either trade Martin, find a way to move Scuds for cap space, or trade some of our prospects...
I want to play our young D as well, but I realize that we have to do one OR the other. Trade them, or trade our current to play them. Can't keep everyone. |

Yup. Beaten to the puck all over the ice. One team wanted to play the other team thinking they were playing Buffalo again. |

BS effort all night long.
I'm ready to see Dupuis play on the 3rd line. We should bring a younger Top 6 player. |

Good for the Penguins they took off Veterans day. A game like this was bound to be happen. No biggie, everyone sucked tonight. |

Couldn't agree more. Thought this should have happened in the offseason. Just seems like we have no plan. Only about to get worse when maatta returns. |

We play like crap against Philly at home and now the Rags in their barn. What is it going to take for the Pens to get up for division rival games? I am not on the bridge jumper bandwagon, I just wish they would have a better showing in these games. |

I'm pretty sure this team has proven nothing other than they have a talented PP and can beat bad teams or western conference teams who brought very weak efforts.
What is very evident is that this team, much like last years team is very easy to play against. Get in their faces and they can't handle it.
At least Krieder hit Stepan, god knows the Penguins haven't hit a Ranger all night. This needs to change. |
