wow. so much can be learned from this game.

has anyone else noticed how much quicker we are with Tootoo, Clowe, Salvador out, and Zubrus on the 4th line? NIGHT AND DAY. Insert Brunner, Josefson, Helgeson, and bump up Ruutu. so much more speed!

Cammalleri being back brings so much to the offense. Havlat does bring something to the Elias line too, nice to see. Patty almost had that goal.. but what a scream afterwords lol.
It's going to be nice to have Henrique back. Henrique in- Bernier out. all is well.

Josefson was a beast tonight. amazing what happens when you let developing players play.

Larsson has only gotten better. How is that possible??? BECAUSE HE'S 21 AND NOT 38!!!!!!!

Sal needs to be done, forever.

I feel bad for Clowe, but I hope he retires.

The combined cap hit of Clowe and Sal, making our team worse, could've been used on a star player.. to make our team better.

Carter > Zubrus and Clowe.. marginally better than Ruutu.. but for the price. more money that could've been put towards a stud. Not that many were available, but this is how we spend our money!!. . on players that make us worse! Heck, we could've kept Fayne, NOT have a horrible PK, AND signed say.. Vrbata? .. which would be a nice replacement for Jagr when he eventually leaves. I could've lived with Cam-Zajac-Vrbata.

doesn't matter.

Helgeson. looked good. wasn't unbelievable, but wasn't bad. .. and WAS better than Sal, and like Larsson.. would only get better.. as opposed to Salvador, who is only getting worse.

The team looked stronger and faster as a whole. I liked the emotion and net presence, especially from Larsson. nice to get a win.

Schneider with that 1 fumble, but made 2 huge saves.

We've gone from literally the best puck handling goalie.. at least that I can remember, to possibly the WORST puck handling goalie in the league. It's really incredible the difference.

After watching a HOF goalie for 20 years, you can really see why he was special from the rest, in addition to his numbers. His puck handling ability, and the way he read plays .. both the opposition and how he'd create offense for our team, is truly one of a kind. special goalie.

Didn't catch the stars of the game. I hope the term "lower body injury" got first star.

Tonight was an exaggerated version of Schneider's play this season. Has been making several good saves a night but always seems to let one iffy one in. Tonight he stands on his head all night and lets one really bad one in. Either way he was phenomenal tonight, credit to DeBoer for starting him despite what many thought he should have done.

No offense to Devils fans, but you may want to scratch tonight's game from Schnieders "phenom" list, because the Wild tend to make even the most mediocre goalies look like the second coming of Marty Brodeur.

Just sayin

Too bad for a Wild. Besides not having Parise, our fu. Captain was out too, could not get any help to win
Hope he'll stay out.

Alexander Kerfoot from Harvard (NJD 2012 5th rd pick) hat trick and 5 points vs BC tonight

I'm also liking two other draft picks we have in college, Blake Coleman (8GP, 6G, 11pts) and Blake Pietila (8GP, 8pts, 68% FO%)

hopefully some of these guys pan out and our prospect pool surprises us

also did any of you guys see John Q's 2 shootout goals this week? filthy

It's not like he got a shutout playing the Sabres he made two spectacular sprawling saves not to mention the backwards stick-flip to knock the puck out of the crease that one time.

Only time I've seen him was the WJC but I like Pietila. Probably will never be more then a bottom 6 guy, but he's got some wheels on him and was great in a shutdown role. Hoping for the second coming of Madden with him

We should trade bernier and tootoo for carter

Legit had a dream last night we traded for eberle and O'reilly and sported a line of ROR-henrique-eberle

I had a raging boner when I woke up

Bingo! So perceptive. It wasn't a knock on NJ, it was the plain and simple fact that the Wild can't score on an open net let alone one witn a goalie standing in it.

Not at all, my comment was in reference to the guy that said he had a phenominal performance.

He did have a few stand on head saves, but personally I would chalk up his performance to lack of scoring ability by my favorite team. Wild have scored 4 goals in the last 12 periods. They're on one of those streaks where half empty and yawning nets are virtually their nemesis right now.

I mean the one goal they were fortunate enough to score was a fluke at best and I wouldn't necessarily put that one on Schnieders greatest moments highlight reel.

Really happy with the Carter signing! I could see where Devils fans might have been a little upset with that one.

Understandable, he's one of the best 3rd/4th line centers in the game right now IMO. He's tied for fifth in scoring right now for the Wild. Not that that's saying much, but I doubt many teams can say they're 4th line center is in the top 5 in scoring on their team.
