That's why they waited till intermission to pull him in both games. It was planned. So for two games he played two periods I think that's plenty rest for a goalie in their prime we aren't even twenty games in for (frank) sakes lol no one should be tired unless they all did nothing but watch their grand children all summer and eat pop and chips

Not about being tired. About not running a guy who into the ground who has never started 50 games in a season who will more than likely have to play 70+. He needs to not be tired later. But he has looked very good so far tonight.

He has made point blank saves like he has tonight through out the year only difference is we are winning in this game. People who think he is playing bad are silly because he has made huge saves all season he is being hung out to dry likely twice as much as he was last year. It almost seems every games there is at least 2 on ones or break aways or 3 on 1. We are playing more open and with it some of the mistakes we make are in dangerous spots. We also have Sal playing well above his head, he could sink any goalies sv% and gaa

It's surprising what happens to your team when your worst player doesn't play. Huh.

Tonight was an exaggerated version of Schneider's play this season. Has been making several good saves a night but always seems to let one iffy one in. Tonight he stands on his head all night and lets one really bad one in. Either way he was phenomenal tonight, credit to DeBoer for starting him despite what many thought he should have done.

I saw some good things tonight. Finishing checks and being aggressive around the net. Yes this was the worst PP in the league but they looked a little better on the kill. Schneider played well. Good game overall.
