I feel like MacLean is LOVING how the Devils are struggling with DeBoer lol

this is the first i'm watching MacLean since game 3 or something.. seems to be more comfortable, more personality, better spoken.

I don't get the love affair for hegelson the guy seems like a plug. Are we happy because it's not sal or are we truly happy this kid is getting a shot ? He would be like the 3rd or fourth defense man I would call up but certainly not the first. Yea he is considered a shut down guy but is he any good ? Is he just here because we lack that element even though it's being replaced by a guy who I have never thought was any good. I mean I pumped for santini and Jacobs but Seth just seems like an every day ahl player who is what 25 ? We talk about people earning things almost every day in here and I'm seriously questioning if this guy earned the call up or it's been handed to him because he plays a similar style to sal.

we're happy because he plays a physical game, is a left handed shot (perfect match with Larsson).. and will ONLY get better. Whereas Sal plays a shell of a physical game, and is only getting worse. Helgeson is an upgrade.

I don't know how I feel. He has a lot of coin left and I agree he is on the decline. But I do agree he would fit our system. How much of that would l.a eat and what would it cost. If it's cheap and they eat some coin I might be ok with him. He might be able to win face offs lol
