I like Schneider a lot but I think at some point a backup needed to start this season.

The clowe saga is a tragedy I just want to end. Just walk away, there's no shame in it.

I feel like he thinks he has something to prove after signing a huge deal. Either that, or he just doesnt know how to step away from hockey, which a lot of athlete go through. Just all around sad.

If Clowe retires, his cap hit is off the books, correct? I like the guy, he's not terrible.. slow, but not terrible. But after a while you gotta start looking out for your lively hood. Concussion after concussion..

I agree I honestly feel like he's been pretty good for us when he's been healthy, but at a certain point the health issues are just out of control.

Also hopefully Salvador will have one of those mysterious injuries that keeps him out forever.

I don't think he was actually pulled ever because of his play. I think those where just oppertunities to get him some rest after the game has been lost because he is going to play every game. It's smart if you ask me that way you can ride your guy instead of sitting him. If we aren't going to sit hedberg one game I can't imagine why we would Schneider for at least another twenty games

There is a whole season left to play that's why and Cory has been far from stellar. Kinkaid should of gotten tonight could help spark the team. To give Cory a mental brake before he gets back to the grind.

Obviously Cory can bounce back here and have a great game. But he still needs some rest here and there and once again its early i'd rather him sit now than later in the year.

I was kind of depressed about this game. Then I read about Sal being out.

This reminds me of the joke. "My wife and I were really depressed so we decided to commit suicide. She went first and I suddenly felt better so I thought (frank) it - soldier on."

So I was looking for this years top prospects and I came across a mock draft we picked tenth or something and buddy had us taking a defense man in the first two rounds and a goalie in the third buddy either was Lou himself or winged it when he got to nj and was like (frank) the Devils... They love defense I'll defense then when he got to round three probably realized he had us picking two already so he went ok poop a goalie seriously bros I'll lose my poop if we dont take a forward with our first this year and not one that when you read about him you find out he is a great defensive player with little to no offensive upside lol. We need a guy who can put bums in seats, a player who had never even heard of defense lol that would be my dream

That's why they waited till intermission to pull him in both games. It was planned. So for two games he played two periods I think that's plenty rest for a goalie in their prime we aren't even twenty games in for (frank) sakes lol no one should be tired unless they all did nothing but watch their grand children all summer and eat pop and chips

I don't get the love affair for hegelson the guy seems like a plug. Are we happy because it's not sal or are we truly happy this kid is getting a shot ? He would be like the 3rd or fourth defense man I would call up but certainly not the first. Yea he is considered a shut down guy but is he any good ? Is he just here because we lack that element even though it's being replaced by a guy who I have never thought was any good. I mean I pumped for santini and Jacobs but Seth just seems like an every day ahl player who is what 25 ? We talk about people earning things almost every day in here and I'm seriously questioning if this guy earned the call up or it's been handed to him because he plays a similar style to sal.

He just turned 24, but I think he might be good, not because he plays a similar style to Sal. He is paired with McPherson as a shutdown pair in Albany, so we'll see. Are there really that many other guys to call up, maybe Raman, I don't think Scarlett is ready, but other than that, I don't think so.
