Is he just a lousy goalie on zone pressure defense? How can he lose .025% in so short a time?

Is he going to give us floater performances or what's going on? Wake up! The D has to be way better, too. Geez, this is the worst defense I've seen in New Jersey since John McLean's coaching stint.

He needs a break and its obvious. I wouldn't call him a pile of suck. The team in general is a pile of suck. You cannot compare him to Brodeur, he would be even worse for us now with how bad the team has played in front of him.

Not about to say that Cory has been stellar because he has to play better, but it's obvious that his D is one of the worst in the league regardless of what stats or people might say (not that I have read our D's individual stats). Sal and Zid as a pair is absolutely insane, although I will admit there isn't much to tinker with considering our D isn't exactly full of solid veterans or young guys stepping up to some extremely high level. My point is basically that Cory needs to be better but it's not going to be as easy as giving him a night off or even inserting Merrill when healthy or any other random forward we throw in. Not that a coach would completely change this team, but I'm just very tired of PDB puss face after bad games.

PDB is a genius. Jagr said so.

I don't really think its fair to look at sv% when the PK has ultimately been the biggest difference from last year to this year. Our 5 on 5 goals against/game is basically the same, only a .05% difference. That said, he was much better last year and he needs to find that level again for the team to turn it around.

he scored a goal in the Pru last year. I was disgruntled to say the least.

Edit: nevermind, I'm crazy. He had an assist when we played them in Minny, and he was a pointless +1 at the Pru. I don't know why I thought otherwise, I guess I was just extra butthurt about his assist.

The clowe saga is a tragedy I just want to end. Just walk away, there's no shame in it.

I feel like he thinks he has something to prove after signing a huge deal. Either that, or he just doesnt know how to step away from hockey, which a lot of athlete go through. Just all around sad.
