The Avs are underachieving or did they overachieve last year? Landerskog is a borderline bust at this point, Mackinnon is experiencing the sophomore blues and an impending suspension, Duschene might not be a 1A C, Semyon V is fresh from a kidnapping charge and they ALL are probably tired of Roy already.

MacKinnon had a slow 8-9 games. I dont think thats sophomore blues, hes been on fire for the last 6 games ever since he scored his first goal of the season. Even when wasnt scoring at the start of the season, the chances he was creating and the plays he was making, he was still one of the better skating Avs out of a team that is really strugglign as a group

Duchene (spell his name correctly already) is a true Top line Center, his skill level is amazing and he takes over games bc of it.

How bout you just concentrate on your own team, since its clear you dont watch or follow the Avs closely enough to give any sort of meaningful comments regarding them

I reread your article again today because something did not ring correct.

You were firing all the veterans, hiring all the kids, ignoring things like Cap floors etc.

I looked up the two young defensemen Rostaleinin and Zadorov on the game by game summary.

You blame Rostaleinin's struggles (minus 10 or 11) on Meszaros.
It would be interesting to see your view of the game stats as my quick count showed the two of them on the ice for only one goal against even strength for the season to date.

If correct, your deeply analytical articles could be helped with some fact checking.

Also, much is made of the minus figures for Benoit and Meszaros in particular.
Fairness says look at the team and at the league at the early stage of the season.
The whole team is minus, Gorges minus 8, and top notch players of other teams are at minus 10 (Nugent- Hopkins, Johnson). Subban is a minus player.

If the team was scoring at all, the minus figures would be significantly lower.

Veterans who have proven that they are plus players and competitors should be given time to play out of it.
