I don't think Hartnell was going to change his ways because he has had a successful career playing a certain way. He was and is still an effective player. He just doesn't fit what the team is looking for. Umberger isn't what any team is looking for.

I have no problem with trading Hartnell. I have a problem with the return they got. If that was their best offer, they were better off hanging on to him.
