Those moves proved just how little I knew about goaltending haha. I couldn't believe they would trade Raycroft. Especially for this Rask character id never heard of. I was ok though because we still had toivinen... then WHAM! Im left sitting there thinking, we're stuck with this ugly looking Thomas guy!? We're screwed!

Right now all pieces of the deal are not only playing but producing. So far so good. Treading water through an outbreak of injuries and beating the teams they should be beating. Don't really see the bad other than the injuries.

He obviously just got lucky. Just like he got "lucky" the kessel return was so good, and "lucky" that Reilly Smith is really good. Its only a matter of time before people talk about how "lucky" he is that the young D is picking up the slack

The outlook isn't that bad. Iginla's bonus will be gone, you let Campbell, McQuaid, Bartkowski and Gagne walk. Paille is not expensive, Svedberg shouldn't be expensive shouldn't be longer than a 1 year deal and Fraser shouldn't cost a fortune either. You have Krug, Smith, Hamilton and Soderberg to sign. Everyone else is locked up and the cap is going up. Look for yourself...
