It's clear you didn't watch the video or the game.
- TheSabresTaco

I did. If you took the time to notice, Zadorov saw Sekac coming before turning his back to him.

Canadiens announcers on Zadorov hit "That might be a game ejection."

Enough said

Biggest hab hater Nick Kypreos "that hit is all on Zadorov"

Enough said.

Fixed as no one else will care.

All kidding aside, it happened, it's over with, and it'll be dealt with next time the two teams meet.

- dadeadhead

Dealt with? This is blown way out of proportion. One guy finishing his check, the other taking a hit to make a play, it is called hockey folks.

Wow, you and this so called blogger obviously have never played hockey. I teach my kids to not do exactly what Zadorov did which is turn your back near the boards. Two minute penalty was correct. Suck it up buttercup.
- Fonzi

I love the comments that start with "you've obviously never played hockey" I can tell there's always going to be a lot of substance added after that phrase...yeah, him and 95% of the other fans probably haven't, at least to any meaningful degree(prob including yourself)....

Lets see Sekac stand up to Zadorov and answer for his blindside hit. But we won't because he'll run away like a little turd. If you're going to charge someone full speed into the numbers, have the Sekac (!) to stand up to him face to face. *ussy.
- TheSabresTaco

How about Zadorov learn how to protect himself on the ice? People are not going to stop finishing their checks because Zadorov doesn't know this.

If the league had to suspend players every time there is a last second, back-turning hit, Quintal would be asking for a raise

To be fair, those weren't Montreal announcers. The game was nationally televised in Canada.

Except for the fact that it IS actually taught at a young age. If you played youth hockey, you would have known that. Maybe it isin't taught in Russia or something?

I was talking about Randorf and Galley, who called the game for Sportsnet. I have no idea what Kypreos said. Kypreos is one of those guys where, if you disagree with him, you're probably correct.

When you play the game of hockey you come to expect a few things, including something called "hitting". It comes in all shapes and forms. Some are clean, some are dirty. Some are high, some are low. Some are from the side, others from the front. On occasion you'll get one from the back, sometimes dirty, sometimes not. Is there anything else I can teach you about the game of hockey?

Ok. Its just when Kypreos says something in favor of the Habs, it turns some heads.

Was it a reckless hit? Yes.

Is it something they're trying to take out of the game? Yes.

Do I think there was intent to injure? No.

It's a fast-paced game and decisions aren't always well-thought out. He just looks like he was in the right place at the right time to make a hit and it turned out kind of vicious.

I agree that the Sabres are a joke right now, but they're icing a joke of a team. What kind of respect are you hoping for? I'm not saying it makes the obvious double standards correct, but it does highlight that they do exist.

After a 2-3-1 start, the St. Louis Blues have ripped off seven straight wins. First in the Central is on the line when the Preds pay a visit tomorrow night

It's early but it looks like St. Louis is starting to click....

Speaking of cheers, I'm facing a huge life decision and I need your opinion. Steak fajitas or tacos tonight?
