Except for the fact that it IS actually taught at a young age. If you played youth hockey, you would have known that. Maybe it isin't taught in Russia or something?

Some are from the side, others from the front. On occasion you'll get one from the back, sometimes dirty, sometimes not. Is there anything else I can teach you about the game of hockey?

Was it a reckless hit? Yes.

Is it something they're trying to take out of the game? Yes.

Do I think there was intent to injure? No.

It's a fast-paced game and decisions aren't always well-thought out. He just looks like he was in the right place at the right time to make a hit and it turned out kind of vicious.

I agree that the Sabres are a joke right now, but they're icing a joke of a team. What kind of respect are you hoping for? I'm not saying it makes the obvious double standards correct, but it does highlight that they do exist.

I think everyone needs to move on at this point...
