Not Boosh's tie doesn't match his shirt. He looks stupid. Just makes me hate him more.

I think this team can go a little bit of a run now with Simmonds up on the 1st. RJ, Vinny, and VDV had a few chances there towards the end.

D played well. Nice to know, at least for the time being, Chief can roll with 8 Dmen and not have that worry hanging over our heads about bringing any of the younger prospects up.

That play where Couturier got hurt. First of all, the Panther got a stick in his feet and tripped him up. And then when he's off his skates going down, and not able to control himself, he gets crosschecked in the back, and slams into the lower boards. How was that not a penalty?

Short time to think about it. Need those mobile two way defenseman. There is nothing wrong with MacDonald's deal.

Except the amount and the length, but besides those you're right

I wasn't crazy about Simmonds on the left side. Didn't look comfortable there.

I didn't see the trip. But the cross check really wasn't much, and coots had an opportunity to make a play on his knees. So I was good with it

Nothing wrong with either. 5M isn't that expensive. And why wouldn't you want a very good, still fairly young 2 way defenseman locked up at a good number?

I think we could get Schultz or MDZ locked for cheaper who would bring a comparable level of play

Disagree. When a player is off his skates, with no way to control himself, a cross check there near the boards is very dangerous. Couturier could of gotten seriously hurt on that play. That he had a chance to make a play on his knees is irrelevant to that.

He's been kind of quite lately but I think he'll do the dirty work to free up G and Jake. As long as 28 and 93 are throwing shots at the net, 17 can be there to bang em home.

The 2nd line, even after the change, leaves very little to be desired. I feel like they should be doing what our 3rd line did today.

Good to see the whipping boy scapegoats, Lecavalier, Umberger, and L. Schenn all play monster games.

Del Zotto, yes. Not Schultz. Schultz defends well, but doesn't move the puck as well.
You need mobile two way defenseman in this league. I only want two defensive defenseman types in the lineup. And one is going to be Coburn. And I don't see Grossmann coming out.

Amazing. That is the kind of hit that gets filed away for future retribution.

I wish Bellmare was 22 instead of 29. Not saying that is old, but damn, he is turning out to be quite the player.

I don't think he's looked comfortable in general over the last couple games.

While Schultz has been a pleasant surprise, I don't think you can expect him to maintain this level of play long term.

I agree. I think MDZ puts some pressure on AMac next season if he keeps up this play.
