It might be, I just think Hexy really wants to keep the young defensemen in the AHL, so he's going to keep 8 vets.

Now, if he trades a defenseman out, he might acquire another one, but I'm not sure if he will right now.

If all our Dman are healthy at the deadline, we might be able to get some decent assets with our sudden overload of decent defenseman.

We have a bunch of the type of guys teams love to acquire at the deadline for 2nd rounders

It's a nutty idea and mindset but I'd only trade MacDonald to strengthen the top six.
- SuperSchennBros

I don't disagree. You're unlikely to move him for another defenseman, unless it's a lateral move or if you're downgrading on D, so adding a top six forward makes sense.

That 10-14-24 line could be the beginnings of something pretty good.

I don't get it. It's pop music all the time now.

I wish our stadium had more of a personality waiting to greet the opposing team.

I love Tarantino so I agree with your post but still disagree with the point you were trying to make

I still like the idea of trading for Chris Stewart. He's played for average to below average offensive teams. I think he has more to give.

He was a little too aggressive but he did a good job squeezing that back hand. Definitely not an easy save.

fortunate to squeeze that as well as the florida player shooting it rather than sending it back door.

Price depending, I am not against it. If Ray Whitney wasn't 2000 years old, Id have interest in him

Yup. As someone already said, he overplayed it a little bit, and as you said, it was fortunate, but that's an underrated tough save to squeeze that armpit shut on a play like that.

But I'm no expert by any means.

Daniel Winnik had a scary looking fall to the ice, head first...
