vandelay has cement feet. naturally.

But you know what? He tries out there, and I like seeing that out of my players.

Excellent forechecking by Schenn, heads up play by Read and then Couturier with the nice redirect. Good shift.
- Jsaquella

Berube putting Schenn with Read and Couturier is looking good.

Hmm, Akeson on a line with another guy with some offensive skill...scoring chances created.

Not rocket surgery.

- Jsaquella

He's playing on the 4th line, in a role he's not suited for, how is it possible that he had a good period there, and was involved in some scoring chances? Maybe because he came to play tonight?

Terry Murray gets the credit for pairing 10 + 14 together.

Lots of focus on the Flyers defense, as a big weakness. The way Del Zotto is playing right now, at both ends of the ice. Dramatically changes that outlook. If he keeps this play up, and they get Coburn and MacDonald back, the Flyers defense isn't the ball and chain it's made out to be.

Maybe because he's playing with another skilled player in Bellemare, which was the point made all along by everyone that didn't like him being used with VandeVelde & Rinaldo. It's not about 4th line, per se, it's about playing him with players & a role that fit his skill set. When he's with VandeVelde & Rinaldo, it's an energy line. Add Bellemare, and the dynamic of the line changes because it's more skilled

You should really try reading exactly what others post, because as usual, YOU MISSED THE (frank)ING POINT ENTIRELY.

Pretty sure everybody was Ok with 10-14-24. I didn't like 18-40-17. Still don't.

Yeah, that line was good in preseason, and in the early going. With 78, it's a giddy-up-and-go line, no longer a plug parade.

I don't think they crossed the offensive blueline once that period.
